Go TeachGo Teach is the official FEA magazine and is dedicated to presenting information about education careers and getting ready for college in a fun, engaging, and professional format. Go Teach aims to elevate the image of the teaching profession by exploring new ways to teach and learn in the 21st century. It helps to ensure that future educators will begin their careers with the skills and experiences they need to change lives.

Go Teach is published four times a year and mailed to all FEA members. Selected articles from each issue are published online at www.goteachmag.org. You can also use Go Teach articles in your classroom. We make it easy with Go Teach in the classroom, which features a lesson plan focused on one article from each issue. To download the free PDF guides, which include worksheets, visit www.goteachmag.org/studyguide.

Like FEA on FacebookDo you ever wish there was an easy place to get the latest news about upcoming FEA events, deadlines, and other happenings? Good news! The FEA Facebook page does all this and more. While we highlight as much news as possible in every issue of Go Teach, the FEA Facebook page is the best way to receive late-breaking news.

We will also share fun and informative resources like tidbits of FEA history, photos from FEA events, and education-related posts from other organizations.

Online ResourcesLog in to the members-only section of the FEA website to add your students’ information and ensure they receive every issue of Go Teach. After you log in, you will also find other important resources and helpful materials.

Update Your Contact InformationDo you have a new email address? Did the primary advisor/instructor of your FEA chapter change? You can update all of this information 24/7 when it’s most convenient for you! Just log in and click “Update Chapter Profile.”

List Your Students as Official FEA MembersAt the beginning of each school year, FEA advisors must renew their affiliation with FEA by logging in to the secure section of the FEA website to confirm their chapter’s information and to enter their students’ names, contact information, and demographic data. This process generates an invoice, allowing you to renew your chapter’s affiliation with FEA and register your students as official FEA members.

FEA National Student Officers Program

One way FEA helps students develop the strong leadership traits found in high-quality educators is through the FEA National Student Officers Program. These elected student leaders represent FEA throughout the year at various local, state, and national functions; write for Go Teach and other prominent education publications; and collaborate with FEA advisors and students to ensure FEA members have a voice in program development.

The deadline to apply for FEA national student officer candidacy is Jan. 3, 2014. For more information, visit www.futureeducators.org/programs/officers.htm.
