‘Fathers Gift of Joy’

The words you are about to read are not the words of some man; they are the tried and tested, and power filled words of a loving God spoken just for you, words to meet your every need.

This is a Fathers letter to those in distress, those who have lost their joy and their peace, it’s a love letter to a child in pain and sorrow anyone who feels that life is not worth living.

Whatever you are being faced with today allow these words from your Heavenly Father to bring healing to you and by faith in Christ allow them to make you free.

My beloved child; ‘Do not be afraid for I bring you good news of great joy …. a Saviour (a healer, a deliverer) has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord’ (Luke 2:10-11)

As your Father I send you this invitation, ‘Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Again I say come, take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light’ (Matthew 11:29)

I am he that gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might I increase strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon me shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:29-31)

When you ‘cry out to me in your trouble I bring you out of your distress, it is I who stills the storm to a whisper; who causes the waves of the sea to be hushed’ (Psalm 107:28-29)

I am the ‘God of hope who will fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost’ (Romans 15:13)

Be assured that ‘through believing in my only begotten Son ‘your sins are forgiven (all of them) your faith has saved you; go in peace’ (Matthew 9:2) so ‘rejoice and again I say rejoice’ (Philippians 4:4)

‘Have I not declared that the fruit of my Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith’ (Galatians 5:22) Indeed my ‘kingdom is not food and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost’ (Romans 14:17)

‘Be glad therefore in the LORD, and rejoice, you that are righteous: and shout for joy, all you that are upright in heart. (Psalm 32:11) ‘For my anger endures but a moment; in my favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning’ (Psalm 30:5)

Have I not promised you that, ‘They that sow in tears shall reap in joy’ (Psalm 126:5) I ‘bring forth my people with joy and my chosen with gladness’ (Psalm 105:43)

Have you not read that ‘I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me ... I call my own sheep by name and lead them out ... my sheep follow me because they know my voice’ John 4:3-4

Have I not said; ‘I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly’ John 10:10’

Beloved ‘never follow a stranger’ for I alone ‘am the good shepherd, the one who lays down his life for the sheep. (John 10:14-15)

Come now and ‘Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings’ (Jeremiah 3:22)

‘I the Lord will restore unto you the joy of my salvation; and uphold you with my free Spirit’ (Psalm 51:12)

‘I am able to keep you from falling, and to present you without fault before the presence of my glory with exceeding joy’ (Jude 1:24)

‘I will heal your backsliding, I will love you freely: for my anger is turned away from you’ (Hosea 14:4)

For I the Lord your ‘God so loved the world, that I gave my only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but would have everlasting life’ (John 3:16)

Don’t you know that ‘when my hour was come that I should depart out of this world… having loved my own which were in the world, I loved them unto the end’ (John 13:1)

My son, my daughter, my child, ‘be of good comfort; your faith hath made you whole’ (Matthew 9:22) ‘walk in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost’ (Acts 9:31)

I am the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; (2 Corinthians 1:3) I am he ‘that comforts you in all your tribulation, that you may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble’ (2Corinthians 1:4)

Therefore ‘rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you’ (Matthew 5:12)

‘Rejoice then, inasmuch as you are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy’ (1Peter 4:13)

Oh’ my beloved child ‘Now is the time to rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn your mourning into joy, and will comfort you, and make you rejoice from your sorrow’ (Jeremiah 31:13)

‘Have you not heard that the Lord your God in the midst of you is mighty; I will save, I will rejoice over you with joy; I will rest in my love, I will joy over you with singing’ (Zephaniah 3:17)

‘These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full’ (John 15:11)

Listen my child put fear far from you for have you not heard that ‘The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor’ (Luke 7:22)

Indeed I have ‘proclaimed freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, the release of the oppressed, a proclamation of the year of the Lord's favour. Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing’ (Luke 4:18-20)

‘I am God who has made peace through the blood of the cross, by Christ to reconcile all things unto me; by him’ (Colossians 1:20)

‘I am your peace, I have made both one, and have broken down the middle wall of partition between us’ (Ephesians 2:14)

‘You are crucified with Christ: nevertheless you live; yet not you, but Christ lives in you: and the life which you now live in the flesh you live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved you, and gave himself for you. (Galatians 2:20) ‘Wherefore comfort one another with these words’ (1Thessalonians 4:18)

You are already ‘justified by faith, you have peace with me through Jesus Christ’ (Romans 5:1) and my peace, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus’ (Philippians 4:7)

‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you’ (Jeremiah 31:3)

‘Joy in me, your God through my Son Jesus Christ, for through him you have now received the atonement’ (Romans 5:11)

‘Truly, truly, I say unto you, that you shall weep and lament … and you shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow ‘shall’ be turned into joy’ (John 16:20)

I am he who is ‘able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of my glory with exceeding joy’ (Jude 1:24) ‘in all these things you are more than conquerors through me for I have loved you’ (Romans 8:37)

Beloved ‘let my peace rule in your hearts, to which also you are called in one body; and be you, thankful’ (Colossians 3:15)

My beloved child ‘Look unto Jesus the author and finisher of your faith; who for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God’ (Hebrews 12:2)

‘Whom having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you see him not, yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory’ (1Peter 1:8)

Shall you not ‘greatly rejoice in the LORD? Come now ‘Let your soul be joyful in your God; for I hath clothed you with the garments of salvation, I have covered you with the robe of righteousness’ (Isaiah 61:10)

I am God and ‘I will Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work’ (2Thessalonians 2:17)

‘Let all those that put their trust in me rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because I defend them’ (Psalm 5:11) I am he that ‘brought forth my people with joy and my chosen with gladness’ (Psalm 105:43)

My dearest child; ‘these things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. (John 15:11)

‘I have shown you the path of life: in my presence is fullness of joy; at my right hand there are pleasures forevermore’ (Psalm 16:11)

Before this time you have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full. (John 16:24)

‘I am the God of hope who fills you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost’ (Romans 15:13)

Fear not for even ‘If you fall you shall not be utterly cast down for I uphold you with my own hand’ (Psalm 37:24)

Finally my child ‘Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and I the God of love and peace shall be with you’ (2 Corinthians 13:11)

‘Be glad; rejoice before your God: yes, exceedingly rejoice’ (Psalm 68:3)

‘I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man will take from you’ (John 16:22) ‘rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory’ (1Peter 1:8)

‘Rejoice evermore’ (1Thessalonians 5:16) ‘for I will never leave you nor forsake you’
