Hotspot, Hot Days, Hot Times• Hotspot Zones:
One or more fatal accidents in each year for two consecutive years within a period of three years along a two kilometer stretch of roadway.
• Hot Days: A day in which the largest number of fatal road traffic accidents occurred in predetermined hotspot zones.
• Hot Times: The time period in which fatal road traffic accidents peaked on Hot Days; consolidated into four hour groupings to mimic the patrol scheme at present.

• Five (5) accidents were concentrated on 708m of this road, resulting in Seven (7) deaths.
