Family Day 2012 Employee Instructions

Our objective is to limit access by visitors to only that information which available in the “Public Domain.” By working together we will prevent violations, which could lead to fines, criminal penalties and negative publicity for LMC. It is against the law to transfer (including oral, visual and physical) a defense article and related technical data to a foreign person. We must assume that foreign persons will be in attendance on Family Day. Therefore, it is imperative that each employee understand the definitions below and ensure that their work area is “sanitized” to protect all sensitive information as defined in CRX-015. http://lmcmc.global.lmco.com/lmcmc/jsp/home.search.jsp?search=CRX-015 Required steps to prepare your work area for Family Day Below are some simple steps that you should take to ensure protection of sensitive information including: Lockheed Martin Proprietary Information, Export Controlled Technical Data, Controlled Unclassified Information and Classified information. • Adhere to the security mandated “Clean Desk” policy. Lock all paperwork in filing cabinets, desks, or

containers. • Ensure your computer is powered off and/or protected by a password. • Ensure all laptops are stored and secured. • All data storage devices (e.g.: CDs, zip disks, etc.) should be off desktops, locked in desk drawers. • Erase all whiteboards. • Remove all data containing sensitive information from hallways, conference rooms, white boards,

offices, and cubicles. • Lock offices that will not be accessible during Family Day. • Ensure all classified information is properly stored and secured. • Ensure all bookcases are cleared (or covered with paper) to prevent disclosure of any sensitive

information. Security Reminders for Employees Attending Family Day In preparation for Family Day, Security would like to remind employees of the following Security Policies and Procedures: • Personal Electronic Devices (PDA’s), including camera phones, are permitted into the facility but the

photographic and/or recording capability cannot be utilized by employees or their family members. • Prohibited Items are the same as any other business day, as outlined in MS2 Common Procedure SY-

PD-002 http://pal.man.fs.lmco.com/pal/viewDoc.aspx?id=647 and will not be allowed on LM leased or owned property. Any employee or employee family member that attempts to bring a Prohibited Item onto LM property will be denied entrance.

• Employees must ensure all Classified Material including computers, media, and documents are properly secured in an approved storage container.

• Security controlled Closed Areas will be open on Family Day. Please view the “Opened and Closed Areas” tab on the Family Day website to see what additional areas will be open.

• Access to Closed Areas will be restricted to the employees who are residents of the Closed Area. If an employee does not normally have access to a Closed Area, they and their family will not have access on Family Day.

• All employees entering a Restricted or Closed Area must badge-in, as required during any normal business day, and escort their families at all times: NO TAILGATING.

• Employees will be held accountable for any breach of Security Policy or any Security Incident caused as a result of one of their family members.

• Please be “Security Conscious” and report any unusual activity to the MS2 Security Operations Center at 856-722-3336.
