Health and Wellness Zumba®

Join the party! Learn Merengue, Salsa, Samba and many

other world dances while shedding calories and toning

your body. This cardio workout is fun for all ages and

body types. Wear comfortable clothes and fitness shoes

(runners, tennis shoes, etc.). No experience or partners

are necessary. Come prepared to have fun, learn new

movement and exercise in a whole new way!

their target zones, including arms, abs, glutes and thighs.

Digital Storytelling

Digital Storytelling is the craM of personal storytelling using

media tools to share, and record stories from our lives. In this

unique workshop experience you will create a powerful 3-

minute movie for personal use, web broadcast or for a

selected audience. With the help of facilitators and easy-to-

use edi0ng soMware, you will record yourself reading or telling

your story and create a video adding a combina0on of

photographs, drawings, scanned memorabilia, video clips and

Stained Glass This beginner Stained Glass class focuses on the ‘copper

foil’ method of assembling a stained glass panel. More

forgiving than the tradi0onal ‘lead’ method, it is perfect for

beginners, yet sophis0cated enough to be the choice for

some very experienced ar0sans. You will learn how to trace

and cut out glass for your paOern, and then you will grind,

copper foil, solder and finish a stained glass panel. PaOerns

Power Engineering—Class 5 T92-085-V01

This is an introduc0on to the basic design, opera0on and

maintenance of hea0ng and other mechanical equipment used

in industry, schools, apartments and office building of small to

moderate size. This course is prepared for operators in the

food processing industry, building operators, custodians,

resident manager and others involved in opera0ons of

mechanical equipment in buildings and plants. It is intended

as a preparatory course to challenging the Alberta Boiler Safety

Associa0on FiMh Class Power Engineering Cer0ficate. To

qualify to take the ABSA exam and receive the cer0ficate, you

must have operated a power plant or hea0ng-plant boiler for

six months and successfully completed the course.
