Greetings,

My�name�is�Monta�and�I’ve�been�working�with�the�Board�for�a�few�months.�My�initial�efforts�have�been�primarily�focused�on�getting�our�website�redesigned.

On�May�30th�the�Winona�Arts�Center�launched�a�new�web-site.�Our�hopes�were�that�it�would�help�us�better�connect�to�the�community,�to�better�share�our�vision�of�creating�a�greater�awareness�of�the�arts�in�general,�and�the�arts�in�Winona�spe-

-

share�their�art�stories,�to�sign�up�for�classes�and�workshops,�and�to�become�members.

We� have� had� a� successful� three� months.� Since� May� 30th,�we’ve�had�more�than�600�visitors�to�the�site,�with�nearly�1000�pages�viewed.�People�have�used�our�online�registration�op-tion�to�sign�up�for�classes�and�our�online�membership�form�to� join�or� renew� their�membership.�We’ve� featured�4�musi-

and�workshops,�and�two�exhibits.�We’ve�started�sending�out�email�notices�about�events�and�classes�and�we’ve�added�an�interactive�online�calendar�and�a�Facebook�page.�

There’s�more�we�want�to�do�with�the�website.�We’re�still�look-ing�for�individuals�who�want�to�participate�in�an�online�discus-sion�about�the�arts�and�the�arts�in�Winona.�We�hope�to�add�a�member-artist�page�soon�-�we’ve�gotten�a�few�artist�submis-sions,�but�we’d� like�a� few�more�before�we�publish�the�web�page.� If�you’re�a�member�and�you�want�to�be� listed�on�our�member-artist�page�go�the�WAC�site�-�www.winonaarts.org�<http://www.winonaarts.org>��-�click�on�the�About�link�at�the�top�of�the�screen�and�scroll�down�to�the�section�on�member-
