The UCAS Process

Applications for all Nursing, Midwifery or Operating Department Practice Courses offered by Universities in the United Kingdom are normally submitted online at UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) at www.ucas.ac.uk.

The deadline for “on time” applications is 15th January 2010.

Late applications may not be processed.

No Direct Applications and/or Curriculum Vitae’s will be accepted.

Typical Interview

If your application is successful at shortlisting, then you will be invited to attend an Interview Day. This day will vary according to the course but may include:

Individual Interviews will consist of a member of academic staff from the course you have applied as well as a member of clinical staff from a local NHS Trust.

Dispelling the Myths

That places are only offered after a successful interview.
