Talented people are talented in everything.

Arnold Schwarzenegger tried professional sport, Hollywood, business, politics, writing, charity and much more. And he failed only in his family life, but this fact does not upset millions of his fans.

Arnold grew up in a house that had no phone, no fridge and no toilet.

His father was raising his children in strict discipline and believed it would make them stronger.

Arnold's father Gustav Schwarzenegger, was a voluntary member of the Nazi party. Gustav, the police officer from Austria, voluntarily joined the Nazi Party on 1 March 1938.

The Guinness Book of World Records called Schwarzenegger “the most perfectly developed man in the history of the world.” He was honored to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records after his impressive win in the "Mr. Olympia Contest" in the 70s.

At his bodybuilding peak Schwarzenegger’s chest was 57″, waist 34″, biceps 22″, thighs 28½”, calves 20″, and his competition weight was 235 lbs.At that time he was called the biggest guy in bodybuilding.

"Hercules" is the only movie in which he was credited as Arnold Strong, instead of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Producers of the movie supposed that the public would not accept his last name Schwarzenegger well enough.

Arnold Schwarzenegger never blinks in Terminator 2. However it was rather hard for the actor to fire a gun without blinking.

In Terminator 2, Schwarzenegger spoke only 700 words and was paid $15 million.

Arnold Schwarzenegger used to be able to lift 683 pounds. Today bodybuilders from all around the globe compete in the Arnold Classic Festival – an  annual multidisciplinary sports convention held in Columbus, Ohio.

"End of Days" is the only movie in which Arnold, playing as a human is killed. Critics declared "End of Days" the worst movie Schwarzenegger ever made. It was a financial disappointment and the disaster from the point of view of critical analysis.

Arnold did not accept his Governor’s salary of $175,000 per year, and instead donated it to charity.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was born in Thal, Austria in 1947. In 1983 he became an American citizen.

His famous line “I’ll be back” from 1984’s “The Terminator” was originally written as “I’ll come back.” He used this catchphrase many times in his later films.

While on vacation in Hawaii in 2004, Schwarzenegger jumped into the ocean and rescued a man from drowning. If that’s not cinematic we don’t know what is.

According to his childhood friends, Schwarzenegger often said his goals in life were to move to America, become an actor, and marry a Kennedy.

He accomplished all three.

Arnold Schwarzenegger overwhelmingly supports the death penalty. The Green Party of Austria tried to deprive him of his Austrian citizenship because of this in 2005.

Schwarzenegger could have played "The Incredible Hulk" but was denied because of his height. 6 feet-2 inches.

Hulk was finally played by Lou Ferrigno is 6 feet-4 inches.

Arnold twice set the standard as the highest paid actor in Hollywood. For playing in Terminator II (1991), he earned 20 million dollars, in Terminator III (2000) – 30 million dollars.

He was the first private citizen in the U.S. to own a Humvee vehicle, a giant car for a giant man.

His middle name is Alois.

The famous Arnold has nicknames Arnie, Austrian Oak, Conan the Republican, Styrian Oak, The Governator, The Running Man, Conan the Governor, The Machine.

Early in his career, Schwarzenegger appeared as a contestant on “The Dating Game.” When he listed his measurements on the show he made all the women contests blush. His friend, actor Tom Arnold claims that Schwarzenegger makes love 5 times a day to stay fit. Not bad for a 68 year old!
