Basic informationThe f22 has a wingspan of 13.56 meters. It can hold a crew of one. Its max take off weight is 38.000 kgs and has an empty weight of 19 700 kgs. It has a maximum speed of 2,410 kms per hour. It is worth at least 150 million US dollars.

The f22 was designed to replace the F15 Eagle because air to air missiles had become to fast and to powerful that no plane could outrun them They needed a stealth plane that was fast had good weapons and was invisible on radar. Then it was made by Lockheed/Boeing/General dynamics and was test flown then sent to nellis air force base in Nevada. 51 f22s have been made since then.designThe f22 is a fifth generation stealth aircraft. It is fit with a radar warning receiver a missile warning receiver. It is able to talk to any other f22 in the area of ground. The radar receiver can receive 10.5 billion instructions for the pilot at one time. The pilot has a head up display and has no analogue instruments.
