F. CHRIS GARCIAThe Best Camping Areas in New Mexico

In New Mexico, when the snow has softened, and the sun is staying

out longer, it means it's chance to make a go at outdoors. Here are

three of the best outdoors spots in New Mexico.

El Provenir Campground is situated in the Santa Fe National Forest and sits close to

the base of Hermit's Peak. The campground is arranged pleasantly between conifer

trees that give a magnificent wellspring of shade and safe house. There are open air

tables, angling, climbing, and biking trails in the zone. This is the ideal campground

for a pleasant getaway and chance to invest some quality energy in the outside.

Rio Santa Barbara sits along the Embudo Creek and the Santa Barbara, Rio.

You have simple access to wild climbing and biking in the Truchas Peaks

from the campground. You can fish and swim in either brook, and you have

simple access to trailheads in the Pecos Wilderness. This is an extremely

tent cordial campground and has extraordinary facilities for gathering

outdoors trips.

Sumner Lake State Park is a brilliant range to camp in as a result of the

potential outside exercises you could tune in. You can go winged animal

watching, angling, sailing, swimming, and natural life seeing. Trails circle

around the lakeshore and campgrounds that sit along the lake, furnishing

you with a great perspective of the region.

F. Chris Garcia appreciates climbing and outdoors with his wife and two

little girls. F. Chris Garcia is a resigned political science educator who

taught at the University of New Mexico for more than 4o years.
