f-4 phantom reinforcement panels For Tamiya Phantom Kits

Nautilus Models #32-701

Thank You for purchasing this Nautilus Product

These panels are designed to better replicate the scab plates applied to all

Navy F-4J, F-4N and F-4S aircraft (and some F-4Bs) as well as what was added to

the USAF F-4E and F-4G aircraft during overhaul. These panels seem ton be

apparent on ALL Phantom variants in their later careers in various Air Forces.

1. Remove the Scab Plates found on the Tamiya kit intakes and fuselage.

2. Add the scab plates as shown in the drawings below.

3. Add the wing spar reinforcing plates (2, 1, & 2) to the bottom of the wing

as shown.

4. Add the centerline reinforcing plate (3) to any Navy Phantom. It is

possible this plate was also installed on the F-4E/G aircraft, but I have

yet to find a definitive photograph that shows it.
