A PartyLite Incentive Trip is the experience of lifetime, and you will be astounded in Penang, Pearl of the Orient! A half day tour* will transport you through local markets where you will discover the secrets of batik, an ancient art and craft that is centuries old. Pioneered in Indonesia, contemporary Penang batik is differentiated by the use of flora and fauna motifs as well as a

variety of dyeing techniques.

The tour* continues with a visit to the remarkable Kek Lok Si, a place of Buddhist worship for the Straits Chinese community. This community, also known as Peranakans, was formed by Chinese settlers who merged local, Chinese and English customs, culture and food into a distinct new culture. The men were known as Babas and the women as Nonyas, and Nonya cuisine is world famous! Such is the renown of Kek Lok Si, it gained the imperial sanction of the Manchu Emperor Kwang Xi who presented the temple with a set of 70,000 volumes of the Imperial Edition of the Buddhist Sutras, the

Emperor’s hand-written scripts, and several other relics.

A trip by funicular railway will take us up Penang Hill where tucked away on top of Strawberry Hill lies a distant rumour of a long forgotten garden - David Brown’s at Strawberry Hill, a quintessential British colonial Restaurant and Tea Terraces. Amidst the lush greenery, this ‘hill upon a hill’ restaurant standing on Strawberry Hill provides the perfect setting for a marvellous

meal, beautiful views and wonderful memories.

To qualify for your place on the trip to Penang, you need to ensure that you are one of PartyLite’s top achievers during the contest period. The trip contest

period is from August 1, 2013 to February 28, 2014.

All participants need to achieve 3 basic requirements during the trip contest:

» Be personally active* each month from August 2013 to February 2014 inclusive;» Personally Sponsor a minimum of 4 qualified* new Consultants;» Achieve a minimum of 30,000 trip points - 15,000 of which must be earned from Sales.

The more Sales, Sponsorships you achieve and the more Leaders you develop during the contest period, the more trip points you’ll have banked towards

your incredible trip to Penang!

» First four personally sponsored qualified* Consultant = 2,000 points each» Fifth and each subsequent personally sponsored qualified* Consultant = 3,000 points each

To be eligible to receive Sponsoring points for the trip contest, Consultants and Leaders must personally sponsor a total of 4 new Consultants during the contest period.

Important note: New Consultants sponsored in February 2014 must be qualified* by February 28, 2014. All new Consultant Agreements and Starter Parties must be received and accepted at Head Office by February 28, 2014. Sponsorship points will

not be awarded for reactivated Consultants.

03. leadership development ( Promotions effective September 1, 2013 to March 1, 2014 )

» Promote-out a new Unit Leader = 5,000 points each

Leaders will receive Leadership Development points for promoting-out a new Unit Leader provided both the existing Leader and the new Unit Leader (from the date of promoting-out) maintain Active Units* each month from September 2013 to

February 2014 inclusive to retain Leadership Development points.

04. bonus points - sales or sponsoring

Bonus points may be offered from time to time during the contest period, for example Bonus Points for Sponsoring below. Please refer to your monthly

promotions included with Reflections magazine.

RVPs and SRVPs achieving the trip are automatically entitled to bring a guest FREE, provided they meet the RVP qualification criteria* on each of

November 1 & December 1, 2013 and January 1 & February 1, 2014.

RVPs, SRVPs, Leaders and Consultants may also earn a trip for one adult guest by achieving a minimum of 60,000 trip points in addition to the basic sponsoring and activity requirements. This excludes RVPs & SRVPs who

qualify to bring a guest free*.

definitionsNew Consultant > An individual officially becomes a “new Consultant” after the Head Office receives and accepts a signed completed Consultant Agreement and a Starter Party. To be considered in any contest as a “newly sponsored Consultant”, a previous Consultant with PartyLite must have been totally “inactive” for 2 full years. Individuals who reside at the same address as the sponsoring Consultant will not be counted as new Consultants in this contest.

Qualified New Consultant > When PartyLite Head Office receives and accepts $2,000 in personal Compensatable Sales from a Consultant within their first full month of business (including any sales from previous bonus days or weeks) following their Start Date, that Consultant becomes a ‘qualified Consultant’. Note > The final date a new Consultant sponsored in February 2014 can qualify in this contest is February28, 2014.

Active > To be considered ‘active’, Consultants and Leaders must submit $900 and $1,400 respectively in personal Compensatable Sales, received and accepted at Head Office each business month. For new Consultants, this applies from their first full month of business following their Start Date.

Active Unit > To be considered an ‘Active Unit’, the Unit Leader (from the promoting-out date) must submit $1,400in personal Compensatable Sales and have a minimum of 4 Consultants who each submit $150 or more in personal Compensatable Sales and the Unit Sales must equal or exceed $5,000 in Compensatable Sales, to be received and accepted at Head Office each business month.

Start Date > The date on which a Starter Party and Consultant Agreement is received and accepted at Head Office.

RVP Qualification Criteria > A minimum of 6 first level Unit Leaders or above rank, and a minimum of 2 second level Unit Leaders or above rank.

Incentive Trip Awards > Top Trip Points Achievers - the Top 2 Consultants and Top 2 Leaders based on total points accumulated for Sales and Sponsoring during the trip contest period - August 1, 2013 to February 28, 2014. Top Sponsoring Achievers - the Top 2 Consultants and Top 2 Leaders based on the total number of qualified (see above) Consultants sponsored during the trip contest period - August 1, 2013 to February 28, 2014. Leadership status for this recognition will be as at August 1, 2013.

terms & conditions1. The trip contest period is August 1, 2013 to February 28, 2014.

2. Successful qualifiers for the trip will be notified in early March 2014. Your notification will include information to enable you to confirm your registration.

3. Acceptance must be confirmed in writing by March 13, 2014. All Incentive Trip Qualifiers and their guests will be required to sign a Code of Conduct as part of their acceptance of the invitation to attend the Incentive Trip.

4. Consultants and Leaders who qualify for the trip but are unable to attend will receive a $1,000 PartyLite Gift Certificate.

5. Guests must be at least 18 years of age, and may NOT be another Consultant or another Consultant’s spouse or child. The name of the guest must be advised to Head Office, and the ‘buy in’ package be paid for, by March 13, 2014. If Head Office does not receive the name, or the name changes after the deadline, the trip qualifier will be required to pay for all hotel and/or airline penalties if applicable.

6. Anyone not taking a guest will be required to share a room. Please note that PartyLite cannot guarantee your choice of room-mate. However, requests made in writing by March 13, 2014 to the attention of PartyLite Events Department will be accepted for consideration.

7. It is the responsibility of the traveller to obtain a valid passport and any other necessary travel documentation including visas, and we recommend that all participants purchase travel insurance.

8. All airline tickets issued by PartyLite are the property of PartyLite and should be returned to Head Office if not used.

9. No changes or deviations to flight schedules are possible, unless dictated by PartyLite’s travel supplier companies.

10. Incentive Trip Qualifiers will have flights paid for from one of the following International Airports or State Capitals: Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart. It will be the responsibility of the Trip Achiever to cover the cost of any other domestic flight and/or hotel requirements.
