It also provides a way to report and analyze the expenditures of a district and ultimately the state.

Determining Which Coding to Use

Accounting is both a science and an art.

I could give you an invoice and we could come up with 10 different ways to code that invoice.

Pay attention to what the Department says to do.

Be honest.

Be consistent.
