Example Projects and Objectives for Digital Photography

Assignment #1- FramingObjectives:-Take photos that use framing to compose a strong photo with an interesting perspective-Edit the photos with the Image-Adjustments menu so both the framing components in the foreground and the background components look good

Assignment #2- LightObjectives:-Take photos where the light is doing something interesting like shadows, light patterns, or reflections-Edit the photos with Image-Adjustments to make the enhance the light and make it the focal point of the photo

Assignment #3- ForeshorteningObjectives:-Take photos using the foreshortening to create photos with an interesting perspective-Edit the photo so that the object in the foreground stands out from the background

Assignment #4- PortraitObjectives:- Take portraits of a person in an interesting location; some of the photos have the person make eye-contact with the camera and have them look away in others-Edit the photos with spot color- keeping the part in color and changing the background to black-and-white

Assignment #5- SurrealismObjectives:-Take photos of objects, people or places with the intent to combine them into a final image that is surreal-Edit the photos by combining them in Photoshop

Assignment #6- MovementObjectives:-Take photos of something in motion (person, object, animal) using different techniques with camera (such as panning)-Edit the photos by using Image-Adjustments to enhance the colors and values
