1. God allowed the church to begin humbly as a mission work with worship services started on January 5, 1992 at a rented house located at Purok 5-A, Tambo, Hinaplanon, Iligan City.
2. The second year (1993) mission activities were held at another rented house held at Purok 5 of Tambo.
3. After 2 years, RBBM rented a land from Mrs. Gumisad, located near the Tambo Elementary School and built a small temporary building. It was used until 1997.
4. The mission was organized into an independent Baptist Church on August 8, 1994 by the Metro Iligan Bible Baptist Church under the leadership of Ptr. F. V. Pontillas.
5. The new RBBC started with more than 30 charter members. The mission members started supporting local missionaries while still a mission in its status.
6. The organized church was called Redeemer Baptist Bible Church from the name Ranao Baptist Bible Mission.
7. Pastor Ruben P. Sulapasbecame the pastor of RBBC.
8. In 1996 RBBC started supporting Filipino missionaries in the foreign land through ABC.
9. In 1997, the church was able to purchase a land (811 sq.m) in Purok Ilang-ilang, Sta. Felomina, Iligan City.
10. The church relocated at the new address on Sep. 17,1997 with just a “trapal” for the roof of the worship building.
There was no road leading to the church building but just a trail. Members walked in and out of the area. The present road beside RBBC going to Bayug Island was built after 4 years of church building’s existence.

11. In 1997 Pastor RPS assumed leadership for the translation of the KJV into Cebuano bible project which started in 1990 through the leadership Pastor Greg Subrabas.
12. In August 1999, FREE was organized and a small bible printshop was built in 2000.
13. Electricity connection to the church compound was connected in 2001. In the beginning kerosene
lamps and car battery was used to give lighting during the services.
14. From the start, RBBC has Wednesday services, Sunday school for children; youth meetings and
prayer meetings.

15. RBBC pioneered the monthly prayer and fasting that breaks every first Sunday of the month and it started on January 2004.
16. The church registered with SEC in 2004 and was named into .Riverspring Baptist Bible Church
17. The entire RBBC compound was washed out on Dec. 17, 2011 due to turbulent flashflood caused by the rains of the typhoon Sendong. Eleven of its members/attenders were killed.

18. RBBC is the only church that has a unique (1st and only in the Philippines) ministry of Cebuano bible printing and distribution.
19. On February 29, 2012 after 40 days of fasting and prayer, God wonderfully provided the present permanent RBBC property. This land (10, 061 sq.m.) is worth Php 3.5 million paid in cash.
20. RBBC started its worship services in Luinab on April 8, 2012 in the bunkhouse and July 8, 2012 in its present building.

21. By the grace of God, the first Baptist church in Iligan City to own a brand new Hilux Fx for “hakot” ministry.
