Shampoo treatment:

A hair tress was soaked in 100g of each shampoo solution (shampoo / water =1 / 3 v/v, 40oC) for 15 minutes. The tresses were rinsed thoroughly in running tap water (40oC), dried in a conditioned room (25oC, 40% RH) for 3 days.

Measurement:Water content was measured by a Karl Fisher Moisture Meter equipped with a vaporizer (Mitsubishi Chemical CA-06, Vaporizer: VA-06). About 20 mg of hair was used for each measurement.
