Join the WWCC Theatre and Library staff for a night of entertainment in honor of author Roald Dahl’s birthday. Enter to win tickets to the upcoming James and the Giant Peach musical at WWCC!

Together We Read Banned Books!

September 25 @ 6 p.m.

Celebrate Banned Books Week by picking up a copy of Charlotte’s Web from the library. Read the book as a family then join us for a Charlotte’s Web game of Jeopardy, snack, and craft. A limited number of books will be available beginning August 20.

Halloween Storytime

October 23 @ 6 p.m.

Join us for our favor-ite spooky and not-so-spooky stories followed by festive activities throughout the library. Costumes are encouraged.

Toddler Time is designed for children birth to 3 years old. Join us for stories, finger plays, baby sign language, shared reading, and songs.

For children ages 3 to 6 years old, activities focus on letters, numbers, social skills, STEM, and other early literacy activities.

Harry Potter Party

October 6 — Noon to 2 p.m.

Join Harry Potter on an epic quest for the Horcruxes and defeat Voldemort once and for all. Activities are inspired by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Volunteers wanted. Contact Becky at 875-3615 for more information.

Magic: The Gathering

November 8 @ 6 p.m.

Come learn the basics of game play and deck building or bring your own deck and challenge other players. Ask a librarian about a free beginner’s deck. This event is for ages 8 and older and all skill levels. Sponsored by Dugout Collectibles & Games.

November 17 – Noon to 2 p.m.

One of the dinosaurs from the beloved Jane Yolen picture books is visiting the library! Join us for a DINO-mite afternoon with crafts and games.

Elf Movie Party

December 8 @ 12:30 p.m.

We are eating Buddy’s famous maple, chocolate, sprinkle spaghetti and watching Elf! Bring a blanket and pillow, enjoy the movie, and then create a keepsake 2018 ornament. Elf is rated PG and has a runtime of 1 hour and 37 minutes.

Designed for very young children 0-2 years old, caregivers, and families, this lap-sit program teaches early literacy and language skills. Join us for stories, finger plays, baby sign language, songs, dance, hands on activities and simple crafts.

Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. Free intermediate crochet class.

Suminagashi

This is an ancient Japanese technique of marbling paper with ink. This is a try-it session where you can experiment and find out more information. Supply fee of $5 for the class.

Dave Munsick

with the Little Big Band

at the Broadway Theater

Wyoming composer and western performer Dave Munsick and his band have a unique sound that can best be described as Western-Americana; an eclectic mix of folk, rock, and classic country. Along with the concert, Dave will work with local students in song-writing workshops. Tickets $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

Sage-grouse Strut the Plains

The exhibit consists of 3-D, fiber, oil paint, photography, film, and bioacoustics installations by Wyoming artists covering aspects of the sage grouse life-cycle, ecosystem, and conservation efforts.
