Q.4 How did you use media technologies in the construction and research,

planning and evaluation stages?

The different technologies I usedWhilst making my trailer, billboard and front cover I used many technologies to help me create them. the way in which I shared my finished products, was by using the social network technologies such as:

These different technologies helped me in lots of different ways, especially facebook.

I mainly used twitter within my work, as my teacher would put up some comments and pieces of work and her ‘tweets’ would be sent straight to me. I could also contact the rest of my group to show them work I have recently done and ask for advice.

This way I could always keep in contact with everyone and this really helped me continue with my work as I always had my group supporting me and my tutor giving me feedback.

Facebook was really helpful as I could communicate to my group at any time and know they all got the same message. Also it could help us further develop our ideas from outside college.

To upload texts and videos such as this, I used slide share.com to turn my work into a presentation for my blog.

I simply clicked on upload and then clicked on the orange upload on this section ^

I then copied the link and pasted it into my blog and it was already done and made into a presentation.

When using youtube, I used it to research existing soap opera’s so that I could use ideas within my own trailer.

Also when I used youtube, I could log in and create my own video to upload to my blog and this is how I did it.

After my trailer was complete with the music and everything, I then uploaded it to youtube. I first signed in and clicked on upload and was brought to this page.

Once uploaded, it appeared on my screen as a proper youtube video, and I then copied the link at the bottom and pasted on my blog.

This was really quick and simple for me to do and it only took me a matter of minutes.

I used blogger with my work so that I could keep all my work safe in one place and have it in the order that its done. It was a quick and simpler way to keep hold of all my work and saving it.

Another way blogger way a good way to keep my work together, is that people could follow my blog and act as an audience and see what I've done. Also with this, they could post comments underneath and give me ideas of what needs changing and what's good enough to keep.
