10 & Under Tournament Kids compete with 10 & under balls on 10 & under

courts. Awards for all participants. Fee includes

lunch, award & tournament entry. Space limited to

the first 16 entrants.

Parent/Child Round Robin Divisions include but are not limited to: father/son,

mother/daughter, grandma/grandson….. any kin! 8

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Little Tennis (Ages 4-6) This program provides a fun and exciting environment where players develop hand-eye coordination and basic technique through the use of age-appropriate equipment and creative games. Future Stars (Ages 7-10)

This program focuses on proper grips, stroke

development, and footwork. Creative teaching

methods introduce players to the fundamentals of

tennis. Providing a fun method of instruction is our

ultimate goal.

Smash (Ages 8-13)

Proper mechanics, grips and spins are the main

focus of this class. Juniors are placed in live ball

situations where they learn the dynamics of singles

and doubles. Instruction is centered on point play

through the use of feeding and game based drills.

Junior Challenger (Ages 8-13)

This class is for the younger player involved in

USTA sanctioned tournaments. Players in this

class show a strong interest in improving their

tennis ability and look to advance their game in

tournament play throughout the year.

High School (Ages 13-17)

The class is designed to prepare the player for a

high school team atmosphere. Shot selection,

strategies and tactics are utilized and developed

within competitive point play situations.

Elite

A strong emphasis is placed on conditioning, match

play, point construction and preparation for

advanced level tournament competition. This class

requires approval from the Tennis Department to

register.

Private Lessons A vital component to every player’s development,

private lessons provide the personalized instruction

necessary to rapidly improve a player’s skills. The

tennis department offers private and semi-private

lessons in 30 minute and 1 hour increments.

Schedule a lesson today with one of our USPTA

tennis professionals.

Rates All pricing for private and semi-private lessons is

available at the front desk. Non-members will be

charged an additional fee.

Director of Tennis/Head Professionals

Private - $48 per hour | $25 per ½ hour

Assistant Professionals

Private - $40 per hour | $22.50 per ½ hour

LESSON POLICIES Advance registration required. Drop-in fees will apply if no registration is received.

Prorating will only be done for a half session (once per week or two weeks per month.)

Drop-ins will be accepted on a space available basis at a higher rate. Please ask the front desk for pricing.

No refunds for lessons that are not attended.

Private lessons must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance or the lesson will be billed at the full rate.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Tri-Level Mixed Doubles League An ESTC weekly mixed doubles league on Friday

evenings in October and November. Sign up with a

partner or we will help find you one. Each team will

be made up of a doubles team at each level (6.0-

6.5/7.0-7.5/8.0-8.5) and will play other teams at the

same rating level. Establish your own team or

ESTC tennis staff will assist. Watch for specific

league information in September!

Super Set Tournament A one day USTA sanctioned doubles tournament.

Block scheduling. Space limited to 8 teams per

division, so sign up early! Sign up on Tennislink.

Turkey Shoot A tennis social event with a turkey twist. ESTC will

provide the turkey, you provide the side dish.

Tennis round robin with a special scoring system.

The top two winners leave with a turkey. Guests

welcome.

Ring in the New Year Celebrate the New Year with your friends at ESTC.

Our traditional tennis social with a toast at midnight.

Bring an appetizer or dessert to share and we’ll

provide the beverages! Guests welcome.

Monday, December 31st $10/player

Free Guest Day Invite your family or friends to enjoy the club with

you. No guests fees will be charged. All guests

must be accompanied by a member.

Tennis Welcome

Center A low-cost adult instructional

program designed to teach

basic tennis skills to new or

returning players in a group

environment. We want to give

you the skills, confidence and

knowledge to begin playing

tennis. It is an affordable way to

introduce tennis to your non-

member friends.

The pool will not be heated, but chemical levels will be

maintained for lap swimmers to savor the joy of swimming

outside in the fall. No lifeguard on duty at any time.

* Lap lane available daily except during Master Swim & Swim

Team programming.

* Hours will be limited during inclement weather.

Soak up the September sun at the pool!

POOL & HOT TUB RULES

Members and guests are reminded to please

follow all posted pool and hot tub rules.

Lifeguards have complete authority in and

around the pool area. Please follow their

instructions and keep our pool safe.

Children ages 12 and under may swim only

when a certified lifeguard is on duty, or in the

company of a parent or responsible delegate.

Children under age 7 must be accompanied

by a parent or responsible delegate at all

times.

The last 15 minutes of every hour is adult

only time in the hot tub.

Children under the age of 14 must have an

adult in the immediate vicinity of the hot tub.

Teen Fitness Class Ages 12-15

Attention Teens – Do you want to start working

out? You can gain access to the weight room

through this training class. You’ll learn the exercise

fundamentals, how to use the cardiovascular and

weight training equipment, and receive a complete

workout routine to get you started. This class is

required for all junior members who want to work

out without an adult present.

Fee: $50 - 1.5 hour private session.

Group sessions available upon request.

Personal Training See results faster! A professional trainer will assess

your current level of fitness to develop realistic,

measurable goals and customize a program based

on your individual profile. Ask for more information

at the front desk.

Assisted Stretching is available for those who want

to improve flexibility and reduce muscle stiffness.

See the bulletin board in the weight room or ask a

trainer for additional information.

25 Days of Fitness Avoid holiday weight gain! Join ESTC in a holiday

workout challenge. Commit to doing 25 minutes of

physical activity every day (yes, even Christmas

Day) during the first 25 days of December.

Suggested workouts will be emailed to you. Sign

up on the bulletin board in the weight room.

Nutrition Corner Check out the new bulletin board located just

outside the weight room door. Watch for nutrition

highlights, suggestions, articles from our trainers

and other professionals, and announcements!

Group Circuit Class Revolutionize your workout! With cardio and weight

training intervals and personal attention from a

trainer, you’ll be amazed at what you can do in 30

minutes.

fitness levels. If you are a new

This 60-minute barbell program

strengthens all your major

muscle groups in an inspiring,

motivating group environment

with fantastic music and

awesome instructors. With

simple, athletic movements

such as squats, lunges,

presses and curls, Group

Power is for all ages and fitness

levels.

ZUMBA

Are you ready to party yourself

into shape? That’s exactly

what the Zumba program is all

about. It’s an exhilarating,

effective, Latin-inspired, easy to

follow, calorie burning dance-

fitness party! .

INTERVAL CIRCUIT

Cardio & resistance training in

one class. Participants will

alternate between moderate

intensity cardio, higher intensity

cardio, and resistance training.

Movement type and intensity

will change often and at regular

intervals, so forget about

boredom! This is a great, well

rounded workout with lots of

options for both the newer

exerciser and the athlete.

DRUMMING

A cardio class done drumming

style! Using actual drumsticks

and a stability ball as a drum,

participants will get a great

cardio, upper body, and core

workout in this very unique and

fun class!

CARDIO & CORE

A mixed blend of exercises

designed to both enhance

cardiorespiratory endurance,

and to strengthen the trunk of

the body. Taught “boot camp”

style, participants will alternate

back and forth between “cardio”

and “core” exercises using

multiple pieces of equipment for

maximum variety.

SENIOR GROUP FITNESS

A weight room class just for

seniors! Coached by a personal

trainer, participants will

experience aerobic, resistance,

balance, and flexibility training.

YOGA

Basic yoga postures that flow

together, enhancing the length

and strength of your muscles,

while reducing stress and

relaxing your mind. Improve

your posture, balance and

coordination while you

rejuvenate your inner self.

PiYo

PiYo is a blend of Pilates,

Yoga, sports stretch, and

controlled athletic strengthening

movement. It is a mind/body

class performed barefoot on a

mat. It’s a bit faster paced,

contains a few more sports

training elements and has a

more athletic feel than a pure

yoga class. A great fusion of

movement that is easy on the

joints yet delivers flexibility,

balance and strength.

IN MOTION

A cardio class much gentler

than traditional aerobics. Full

body movement will elevate the

heart rate, while opposing limb

movements challenge the

coordination between the body

and mind. Includes body toning

& a relaxing stretch.

GROUP CYCLE

An excellent cardiorespiratory

and lower-body workout on the

stationary bike. This class uses

Schwinn Authentic Cycling

principles, and is designed to

feel like an actual road ride.

Each rider has total control over

his or her own intensity level, so

this class is a great place for

both the brand new exerciser

and the seasoned cyclist! If

you can sit and pedal, then you

can cycle! See brochure for

Welcome Kids Corner is available for children between the

ages of three months and eight years. Parents

must remain on the premises during the time of

care.

Hours of Operation

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Tuesday, Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Rates

1 hour $4.00 per child

1.5 hours $6.00 per child

2.0 hours $8.00 per child

Reservation Policy Members must call the front desk to make a

reservation for Kids Corner. Reservations may be

made up to seven days in advance, but no later

than 8:00 p.m. the night prior. If the ratio of 6:1

(children to staff) has not been met, walk-ins may

be taken. Reservations should be canceled by 8:00

p.m. the evening prior. A $4.00 fee will be billed to

account for any late cancellations or no shows.

Snacks

Simple snacks are provided for the children.

However, please feel free to bring a snack or drink

for your child. We recommend finger foods such as

cheese sticks, Cheerios, crackers, fruit etc. Please

avoid drinks that stain and small items such as

peanuts or raisins that are potential choking

hazards.

Special Needs

If your child has any special needs, please let the

Kids Corner staff know in advance. Please keep the

staff informed of pertinent information such as

allergies etc.

Diapers & Potty Training

Please bring your child to Kids Corner in a clean

diaper and provide the staff member with extra

diapers and wipes. If your child is potty training,

please dress them in Pull-ups or plastic pants.

Illness Policy Please see the member handbook for the Kids

Corner illness policy.

Services Offered

Swedish Massage Addresses stress and tension,for overall relaxation. Uses medium pressure and varied strokes for a relaxing massage.

Deep Tissue and Injury Treatment Uses very deep, slow strokes to effectively lengthen and relax muscles. Addresses chronic pain, headaches, stress, tension and injury.

Sports Massage Addresses one or two specific areas of the body to help prevent injuries or facilitate recovery of stressed or overused muscles, tendons and ligaments.

Trigger Point Massage Utilizes direct pressure to relieve specific areas that are tender or hypersensitive, resulting from overuse or injury.

Masssage therapy is available to both members and non-members. Please make an appointment at the front desk.
