Peace, love, respect and unity, be with us!

the Vedas speak of oneness, unity and equality. Yet we experience diversity, differences and demarcations. working with hands and thinking with brain should go together in any developmental task. It has been our constant endeavour to stir this urge by providing a platform to students and teachers, to express their thoughts and feelings.

we firmly believe in the principle of inducing educational, social, cultural and spiritual awakening and put emphasis on all round development of the students. we give substantial enlightenment to the students in the form of light of knowledge to introspect oneself spiritually, emotionally and physically. we are strongly committed to explore, harness and nurture the potential of our students to help them to dream and equip them with an independent thinking and to create world leaders with strong native roots.

with all the parameters of quality education fully catered for, our total thrust is always to create an environment where success howsoever big do not inflate children and failures howsoever daunting do not deflate them. each child is encouraged to deal with complexities with earnest zeal, zest, enthusiasm and exuberance. we consider it our sole responsibility to make our students strive for excellence before making them smart and for the realization of this goal we have included Value education as an integral part of the curriculum. the school is preparing students for science, commerce and humanities streams at the senior secondary level.

once again we are here with another volume of essence that provides a panorama of events and activities which are being held in school at different intervals of time with a hope that all these will give input to our readers and enable them to get to know more about tIhs.

I humbly welcome you to have fun while you read the pages of essence.

“A school is a building surrounded by four walls with the future inside”. Individuals having diverse backgrounds, carrying unique streaks of values, traditions & cultures enter the temple of learning. children are living beings – more living than the people who have built shells of habit around themselves. therefore, it is absolutely necessary for their holistic development that they are not imparted ‘mere school’ for their lessons but a ‘world’ where guiding spirit is personal. At tIhs, we nourish, nurture & bind the tenacious threads of values & ethos. this aim spurs us to make an earnest effort to ensure that our school is a home away from home, where a child is engaged in a pleasurable pursuit of learning in a technology driven environment, where the uniqueness of a child is appreciated & celebrated and where the child is equipped with the abiding values.

we are extremely fortunate in having a committed & supportive management, dedicated teachers, caring & cooperative parents, blending harmoniously to create a child centric school at tIhs. It is natural to find in this ambience, the intensive use of variety of thinking activities, strategies & group dynamics to make our classrooms alive & vibrant.

we, at tIhs work at implementing a well balanced curriculum to ensure that the children who walk into the portals of our school will not just love their school years but truly be prepared to face life’s challenges. It was margaret mead who said, ‘children must be taught how to think, not what to think’.

we are pleased to present to you this issue of ‘essence’ – the newsletter of tIhs, giving you the myriad hues of victorious moments & glorious achievements of the school. It’s pages are a poignant reminder of the fact that success is not a rare species, to be cherished by a few but inspires one to look beyond the plains to the soaring mountains.

happy reading!
