Following publication of the above in the March/April 2010 issue of Biofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefi ning (4:132–153: DOI: 10.1002/bbb.208) the authors have spotted the following errors:

• Figure 4: Title is related to primary energy input instead of GHG emissions – the legend should read: Primary energy input of three illustrative pellet chains in Europe

• Figures 4 and 5: Th e red legend bar ‘Drying feedstock’ is missing from the keys for both fi gures indicating the y axes ‘Primary energy input’ and ‘GHG emissions’ respectively’

• Page 147: at the bottom of the 2nd column, the incorrect fi gure has been given: €0.08-0.16 per kWh should be replaced by €0.008-0.016 per kWh
