PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Armament Supervisor Mar 2011- Nov 2013Exelis-Supervised the work of 15 personnel in 2 different shops, one small arms/artillery shop and one DSESTS electronics/ Fire control systems shop.-Maintained all electronics for the M1 Abrams and M2/3 Bradley series of vehicles. -Preformed 180 Day TOW 2 missile system verifications, M41 TOW system maintenance, Gun tube scoping procedures.-Maintained, repaired small arms and artillery pieces such as, M2 50 Cal Machine gun, MK19 Grenade launcher, M24 Series of Machine Gun.-Reported all maintenance statuses and repairs to management.-Repaired electronic circuit boards using soldier, micro components, plasticizers and epoxy fillers.

Senior Trainer Turret Oct 2008 - Feb 2011 Vinnell Arabia Corporation, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia -Instructed Saudi Arabian National Guard soldiers on Organizational and Direct/General Support maintenance echelons for weapons, armament and fire control systems to US standard.

-Utilized CAD programming to design new school facilities and concept training areas for the National Guard.-Instructed all LAV(Light Armored Vehicles) turreted variants to include; 25MM Chain gun, 90MM Assault gun, 120MM Mortar, and TOW Antitank missile system. -Primary lead in reporting progression of student accomplishments throughout courses to company management as well as proper Saudi National guard commanders. -Wrote the POI’s and lesson plans for all turret courses allowing proper amount of time for a smooth transition between turret systems. -Created and organized replenishment lists and storage locations for all HazMat Classes, following American OSHA standards. -Maintained seven training aid LAVs. Keeping records of quarterly services, repairs, and needed component replacement as per contractual requirement.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic May 2008 - Oct 2008

ITT Industries, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait -Rapid Prototyping to repair battle damaged equipment sending it back to the war fighter in the most expedient manner.-Programed CNC machines to manufacture parts not available or out of stock allowing for a greater and faster turnaround time.-Refurbished and/or reset multiple pieces of military equipment for the Iraq conflict. -Out fitted 50+ Light track vehicles with Add-on-Armor (AOA). -Serviced Equipment in accordance with US Army regulation maintaining all service and rebuild documentation.

Primary Instructor NET May 2007 - May 2008 Vinnell Arabia Corporation, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia-Trained SANG(Saudi Arabian National Guard) on the upgraded LAV-Mortar vehicle. Training three Brigades, as well as the National Guard School’s instructors. -Helped complete lesson plans and outlines in preparation for course instruction applying Systems Approach to Training. -Instructed a multi-national force with the help of instructor/translators.

Combat Vehicle Repairer August 2006 - March 2007 DS2 (sub-contractor PEKO GmbH.), Germany--Performed 20-40 Level repairs and depot level fabrications to various types of combat wheeled vehicles to include; HUMMV Series, 5 Ton Truck Series, 10 Ton HEMMT Series, and PLS Series. -Controlled flow of contract work requirements, managing 15 personnel, returning 126 vehicles back to the military supply system. -Prepared weekly and monthly status and workload reports for required leadership. Maintained personnel weekly timesheets for 16 individuals. -Created proper maintenance record packets for vehicles repaired.

Track Vehicle Repairer, Supervisor April 1999 - June 2005 U.S. Army -Supervised and Trained 10 subordinate mechanics in the repair of tracked and wheeled vehicles. -Manufactured parts and tools needed to complete the US Army’s mission, utilizing lathes, MIG and stick welding machines.-Certified documents for the transport of HazMat during the deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom I. -Supervised maintenance and accountability of over 600 personal and crew served weapons during combat tour in Iraq. -Remanufactured M1 Abrams transmissions, testing with a dynamitic test stand to verify repair validity. -Rebuilt GM 6.2 Lt and 6.5 Lt HUMMV engines. -On site trained in a Machine shop on welding equipment, tooling machine, drill presses, and lathes.-Responsible for an Arms Room for 3 years, 15 months of which were serving in Iraq.

Armament Repairer January 1994-June 1998 U.S. Army -Completed GS level repairs to M1 Abrams, and M2 Bradley electronic components. -Repaired circuit cards, and DSETS Tested LRU’s. -Assisted in repairing small arms weapons. -Responsible for Armament Section of MST for duration of 6 months as a PFC. -Removed and installed 15 M1 Abrams Tank Turrets without fail using M88 Recovery vehicles and overhead cranes. -Completed hundreds of successful DS Level Armament and Fire Control jobs.
