EQUIPMENT HIRE
Upswing can provide you with your entire circus rigging and equipment needs.
We have all of the basic aerial equipment available for hire such as ropes, harnesses, hoops and bungees. In addiSon to this we have specially built aerial rigs and unique aerial apparatus available for hire, including the following:
Free standing aerial rig up to 6.5m high, which means there is not need to worry about stakes hiUng underground cables or the need for wide guy lines interfering with public access.
The Bell is a unique piece of aerial apparatus that can hold up to three aerialists at once and resembles a giant bell, great for Christmas performances or décor and for unique spectacular events.
The Sun Ray is an impressive decoraSve structure that can be rigged with pyrotechnics.
The Globe is a versaSle piece of aerial apparatus of approximately 2m x 1.8m that can be suspended from a crane or ceiling, with up to 3 people climbing on / hanging from it.
Please note that all of our aerial apparatus will be installed by competent and insured aerial riggers at all Smes to ensure the safety of performers and public. AERIAL BELL FOR HIRE
We were commissioned by Stoke on Trent City Council to perform for the city’s Olympic torch event. For this Grecian
themed show we had a giant Bell fabricated that was rigged from a crane in the city centre. Three aerialists performed
acrobatics on the structure before tumbling down to the ground from underneath it on long silks.
The Bell can be used in many ways and themed for specific events.
o It can be rigged in and outdoors
o It can be used decoratively or for performance.
o It is perfect for Christmas events (with or without angel performers).
o Can be dressed as anything you feel might fit with your event e.g. flower,
chandelier

FREE STANDING AERIAL RIG FOR HIRE
This aerial rig is perfect for performances and workshops at events in unusual places including the streets, city
centres, private gardens, parks and riverfronts.
It is a convenient and independent structure that arrives in a van with professional riggers, is erected in less
than 2 hours is 6.5m high and can showcase any spectacular aerial performance that you want, including
trapeze, silks and aerial workshops.
This aerial rig requires no:
• Stakes
• Ground anchors or
• Additional guy lines.
All that is needed is a flat ground surface!

This Sun Ray structure can be hired to add a spectacular, decorative
feature at your event. In addition, if required, aerial performance can
be arranged to combine with or feature alongside the structure.
We can provide a certified rigger to hang the structure and we can
combine or advise as to how performance can be used with it.
Pyrotechnics can also be rigged from this piece of apparatus.

SUN RAY
The Sun Ray was featured in Tamburo our
exciting outdoor commission with Brent Council
that celebrated the grand opening of the new
Brent Civic Centre in Wembley.
Flames and pyrotechnics were rigged to the
structure and an aerialist performed with the
structure as part of the event.
AERIAL GLOBE
The Globe is a giant steel ball approximately 2m x 1.8m comprising 8
vertical ribs and 4 horizontal rings. It was originally
commissioned to highlight a spectacular event by the national
theatre and has subsequently featured at numerous prestigious
events including the MTV Music Awards.
