One of the things that should be most cherished, is life with each other. He would like to think of himself and others as children trying to make sense of the world with hope-filled eyes and joy in their hearts. That even with the tears and wounds that we experience, we are still going to play and sleep soundly at the end of the day because we know that tomorrow is something to look forward to. Not being too idealistic, we all have our burdens but James would carry them inside and hope for the best, thinking it will always be better tomorrow.

An honest smile. A simple soul. He has taught me to see the few beautiful resilient things in life and to remember that one of these love me.

If you see someone in a pink top, carrying a pink bag, and wearing a pink visor, you’re right on the mark. She has her own sense of fashion, so if you see her in something unconventional, that’s just Aze trying on a new look. She’s got a long thread of patience, and is slow to anger, but when you tick her off, she’s gonna put on her severe look and will ignore you as if you were wallpaper. Her Filipino poetry is, quoting Sir BobbyGuev, “makalaglag ngalangala.” She’s truly passionate about ES and her favorite word is evapotranspiration. If you asked people who know her, they would agree that she is easy to get along with, and very down to earth. If headstrong is in my dictionary, humility is in hers. She has many profound moments, but mostly, she’s corny; the block believes it runs in her blood. She’s adventurous, and has sailed over water, swam under water, trekked over ground, and spelunked under ground. But don’t get her near a booth selling ethnic stuff, you’ll find yourself stuck there for an hour.

Zhan is the RPG Queen whose fixation with Final Fantasy is evidenced by how she played FF 1 through 10. She’s techy, so if you need someone to make greates PPT presentations, she’s your woman. She’s the only girl in the block who is actually good in Math, and her many virtues make her truly Prexy material.

She has the capacity to stay awake for long periods of time, and an equal capacity to stay asleep for long periods of time. A shift from Political Science to Environmental Science may seem a bit stretched, but she certainly warmed up to the course in no time. She’s not very emotional, why is why, when she does show emotion, the block gets doubly concerned. She keeps a lot to herself, but she does it in a way that doesn’t make you feel excluded from her life.

The thing that first showed her uniqueness, especially in the AKZ Triumvirate, was her different way of thinking and fresh perspective.

“Sanny is one of the busiest guys I know, who certainly knows how to bluff and usually gets his way. Although he can be rude at times, he nonetheless has his moments, because at his best, he’s compassionate. Occasionally, he shifts into ‘nonchalant’, seemingly uncaring mode, but when you need him, you can certainly count on him. He seldom falls in love, but when he does, he falls hard and deep. He’s got a superiority complex, but with brains like his, anyone would. You should spend time with him on one of his carefree days, because his sense of humor would just crack you up. But don’t get on his list, because not only is he good at making-bara, but when it comes to sarcasm, Sanny is not known for being subtle…”

OC: She can do without her glasses but not without her pencil case. Don’t dare mess with her when she’s having PMS; it’s the only time of the month when her imperative sentences are legal. During her solitary moments, Katja: 1. sits in front of the fridge and stares at its contents; 2. sits on the fence and listens to 3eb in full volume; 3. sits on her bed with lights off; 4. crafts her earrings; 5. rewrites her notes; 6. cuts her skirts; 7. reads in the toilet; 8. feeds her neopet; 9. makes-katay the crappy papers; 10. wanders away to dreamland.

She’s assertive, an individual, stubborn, a true-blue environmentalist. And as one other friend advises: “you wouldn’t want to go against her for she’d argue with you till eternity and bombard you with her highfalutin words till you give up.” She doesn’t care what other people think: Hypocrisy is not in her dictionary; Headstrong is. She’s the non-conformist in the block, always willful, and firm in her stand.

But she’s really rather nice when you get to know her…

Jobe. The perpetual kid. The mama’s boy. The two most common things you will ever find out when you ask anyone who he is. But then you find out that there is something about him that draws you closer. It could be the bedimpled smile constantly etched on his face or the infectious laughter or the playful spirit that he carries with him; whichever the case, there is that air of charisma and kindness that he radiates that reaches out to anyone and welcomes them to himself. He is always at ease with people with his constant teasing and joking; and though you might get irritated sometimes, you just can’t stay angry with him for long. He is a “man for others”–-always thinking first of the welfare of his family and friends before his own. He could be a bit lazy but he shows flashes of brilliance if he puts his heart and mind to it. He is downright honest and a man of principle, permanently holding on to his values and to the perfect will of God. With him, there never is a dull moment…

I’m the kind of person who goes right out of ones way just to purchase an M203 grenade launcher and perhaps even a few shells if I can spare the change. Social groups just aren’t my thing, but I don’t condemn being friendly all together. It’s just that I often find myself holed up in my room or some other lonesome place where I can be by myself. I’m not self-centered either, no, it’s not my fault that I find my peers mindless coming from their senseless banter, which is why I’m careful in choosing friends and I mean real, dependable, honest-to-goodness friends.

I hate conformity. I hate having to abide by the whims of society. I have my own opinion on things, mind you, and if you insist otherwise, I have the business end of my grenade launcher for you to deal with.

loves trees and falling leaves… poetry and the little prince… shooting stars that wouldn’t show up… to write about pain because when she’s happy, she forgets… movies that make her mad then laugh then cry… songs in languages she can’t understand… to feel mud between her toes.forgets a lot of things… to call when she said she’d remind you… to tell you she missed you when she did… your voice ‘cause she was too busy memorizing your face… that she’s not supposed to sing out loud in grocery aisles… holidays and anniversaries… birthdays especially…but she remembers all the times she has loved.
