DESCRIPTION
The European Network of Japanese Philosophy (ENOJP) welcomes scholarly and translation articles that largely fall within the field of “Japanese Philosophy” for the first volume of our journal, EuropeanJournal of Japanese Philosophy (Freiburg: Alber). Our Editorial Board invites articles and translations of Japanese philosophy in European Languages (including so far English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian and Spanish), as well as in Japanese. We are also pleased to announce the First Annual Conference to take place in Barcelona (Spain) on December 4–6, 2015. The aim of the conference is to provide an opportunity for scholars in the field of Japanese philosophy to share and discuss their projects and build a wider community of their scholarship across Europe and beyond. “Japanese Philosophy” for the first volume of our journal, European
Journal of Japanese Philosophy (Freiburg: Alber). Our Editorial Board
invites articles and translations of Japanese philosophy in European Lan-guages (including so far English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Ro-manian and Spanish), as well as in Japanese.
Submissions must be electronically submitted as MS Word documents ac-companied with around 150 word abstracts to contact(at)enojp.org.
The manuscript should normally be between 3000–10.000 words. All
manuscripts submitted will be subject to peer review. Visit enojp.org for

Japanese Philosophy) lance un appel à contributions pour le premier numéro de sa
revue : European Journal of Japanese Philosophy (Freiburg : Alber). Comme son nom
l'indique, le but de notre association est de promouvoir la philosophie japonaise en Europe.
Recommandations générales :
- Vous pouvez envoyer des articles, traductions ou recensions en format MS Word à
l’adresse : contact(at)enojp.org jusqu'au 30 septembre 2015. Les langues de publica-tion sont, pour le moment, les suivantes : japonais, anglais, français, allemand, italien, portu-gais, roumain et espagnol.
- Tous les textes, d’une longueur comprise entre 3000 et 10 000 mots (dont on demande aux
auteurs de bien vouloir en indiquer le nombre exact), doivent être accompagnés d'un résumé de
150 mots, environ. Notre revue n'accueille que des travaux originaux et qui n'ont pas été pub-liés antérieurement.
- Tout manuscrit sera soumis à un comité de lecture et ne doit pas contenir d'éléments qui pour-raient permettre d'en identifier l'auteur.

Call For Papers:
The European Network of Japanese Philosophy (ENOJP) is pleased to an-nounce the First Annual Conference to take place in Barcelona (Spain) on De-cember 4–6, 2015. The aim of the conference is to provide an opportunity for scholars in the field of Japanese philosophy to share and discuss their projects and build a wider community of their scholarship across Europe and beyond.
Papers on any theme or topic within the field of Japanese Philosophy will be consid-ered. The conference will be hosted in English, Catalan, Spanish and Japanese. Deadline for submission of abstracts (500 words max.): August 30, 2015.
Confirmed Keynotes Speakers: Prof. Frédéric Girard (École française d'Extrême-Orient), Prof. Rein Raud (University of Helsinki) and Prof. Bernard Stevens (Université catholique de Louvain).
