SustainabilityIn a world where sustainability is the order of the day, where environment, consumer protection and responsible business are the cornerstones for the future, the issue of healthy diet is top of mind.

Considering this, the Wine sector in Europe has committed to promote responsibility in the consumption of wine and encourage a culture of moderation through the Wine in Moderation program.

This is the opportunity to secure the legitimate place of wine in European society, guaranteeing a legal and socio-economic environment which will allow the sustainable development of responsible business.

It is also an opportunity to educate consumers in the culture of wine as part of a healthy diet, widening the base of wine drinkers, and securing a stable future for the wine growing regions, and the millions of people who work in them.

Our objective is the promotion of a moderate consumption of wine.

This is the opportunity to secure the legitimate place of wine in European society.

• actively defend the European codes of good practices in force, communicating them to distributors, customers and consumers, with the hope of rapidly encouraging them to adhere;
