Social Media, despite its many uses, has become more of a burden than a benefit.

How so?

We’ll find out as I walk you through my presentation.

Social Media is the main cause of what people are yet to stop.

Media Addiction!

Media Addiction is an individual’s dependence on Social Media such as Facebook, IMVU and Twitter.

Regardless of whether people deny it or not, Media Addiction exists.

With the way technology has taken over, along with the new mobile era taking over, people can access social media sites anywhere they go.

What makes you an addict?Being chained and bound to your sources of Media, for example;

1-Constantly checking your facebook notifications.

2-Updating your twitter account.

3-Staying at home all day while logged on IMVU.

Symptoms of Media Addiction:

1- Withdrawal effects2- Isolated from society (in extreme cases)3- A lack of verbal expressive confidence with other people, whereas confident when typing.

What can be done to break away from this chain?

There’s no such thing as a medical cure for media addiction. But it is still possible to break out of the loop.

It all depends on an individual’s mentality.
