What if a disaster happens while I’m at work? Stay calm and don’t panic Know the emergency plan for your building, especially

the stairway exit routes and where to assemble Assume that all public transportation and travel paths will

be closed for at least two days Make sure you have a back-up caregiver for your family Have an emergency kit for work: Include many of the

same items as in your home kit, especially a change of clothes, sturdy shoes and necessary medications
