Most “issues” are dealt with in an average of 3 - 4 sessions

You may have an “unlimited” amount of issues you may seek assistance for

Each “issue” is a new situation

75-80% of issues are handled in-house using USTC

Some issues require referral for long term treatment and counseling, residential facilities, or programs

If referred outside TAG , one of our Case Managers will be assigned to work with the employee accessing health insurance benefits, and/or community resources to preclude/lessen financial difficulties

nor do we report the names of individuals that have accessed our services

Privileged communications with a mental health professional is very similar to communications with physicians or attorneys

Counselors have the same legal, ethical and moral responsibilities to confidentiality as physicians and attorneys (CFR 42)

All records concerning counseling sessions are restricted access and will only be disclosed with written permission of the client

EAP documents are not part of your personnel file
