‘I don’t know if I was ever just a one genre kinda girl’

Emma Stevens is an unsigned singer/songwriter from Surrey. She describes her style as ‘folk/pop songs with a twist and lots of sparkle’. Over the years she has been a session musician for bands such as fiN which has led her to touring worldwide with bands such as The Kooks, and Mona. She has been a part of Kate Nash’s music video for ‘Girl Gang’ and has supported Kate on her last UK tour. She has most recently supported singer Passenger on his UK tour. Not only does she sing and write songs but she also plays the guitar, piano, cello, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, percussion and baritone guitar. On her Facebook she says that her influences are art, people, music, nature, and culture.
