Fudan University is one of the oldest and most selective universities in China.The new campus of the Fudan University offers the perfect opportunity to embody the spirit of Fudan in the new buildings.All the public gathering spaces of the new buildings are covered by a roof-landscape.“Heavenly lights” can now be experienced everyday by the students while they study and gather at the university.

This project has a strong iconic component and responds to a peculiar geometry, which refl ects an effect of torsion and is distantly inspired by the apparent movement of the wicker panels of the spanish pavillion in Shangai

The magical island will be a complete experience with natural and artifi cial features that will play together with the comic museum experience.A whole reinvention of the concept of a museum experience, a very brand new concept that will be thought exclusively for the city of Hangzhou and for China; making it become a world unique reference in its fi eld.

We propose an open space featuring a dance fl oor with a labyrinthine path guiding the steps of those dancing the spring dance around the central feature - a feature that generates and guides the movement of the dance, fi lling the surround space with life. People and traffi c will move differently in Ricard Viñes Square, where pedestrians will own the public space.

We understood we wanted to build our new store the same way Camper shoes are built in Mallorca. We cut different shoe forms, with hills, without hills, tall, short, for men, for women… we put those fl at profi les one next to the other… and that is how our the volume of our new Camper store appeared!

This is a social housing building with 48 apartments located in what it used to be the perifery of Figueres, and it is not anymore.Given the long shape of the site the block develops in plan like a long line that wrapsits own private open space.

The objective of this project is to diminish the unwanted noise from the passing cars towards the houses located in Gran Via.A long row of acoustic screens prevents the noise of the fast traffi c way (lower level) to reach the upper level (destined to slow traffi c and pedestrians) and the buildings.

This project has developed as a commemorative exhibition space for the centenary of the city of Esch-Sur-Azlette in Luxemburg.The pavilion is located in the Centenary Park and lifted up from the earth.This allows visual connections between different points of the park, and at the same time offers small public spaces under the main volume of the building.

The society managing the development of the Port of Hamburg set up a competition to regenerate and urbanize the shores of the River Elbe in the town center. The proposal launched by the EMBT studio won with a project that stands out by its offer of a great diversity of spaces to allow Hamburg’s inhabitants and visitors to take advantage of the nearby waterway.

This building is a peace of the University Campus of Vigo, arranged from the master plan done by this offi ce. The building is a rectangle that bows on the back part to adapt itself to the form of the area, following the guidelines of the classroom building.

Santa Caterina Market renovation

The Santa Caterina Market was a convent, a space where the sky opened.Truly, if you go to this large esplanade, you realize the scale of it in relation to the rest of the city and, where the market stands, the expanse of sky is enormous, then, you can almost sketch what happens to the space in the old city, looking to sky, looking upwards.

Now it is fi nished, I think that the park embodies all of the original ideas.What I like best about it, is this strong vibration.You come to this square and you see the pergolas, the fontains, the vegetation, the hanging vases, the movement of leaves on trees, the vibration of the shadows, which are the main thing that we wanted to achieve.

There are two ideas behind the new project...1. To rediscover the value of the interior spaces of the neo-classic building, the Medieval room.2. To return to the idea of a municipal building as a conglomerate of the diverse houses of the city.3. To maintain the monumental quality of the facade and create a more open construction so as to facilitate the better relation of the municipal building and the new square at the back .

The existing trees on the site defi ne the framework of the project.The building is situated between them and the volumetric quality of the trees is mixed with the transparent facade of the new school.Behind this facade is the waiting area for the pupils – almost like teaching under trees.

We should try to enter, beacause the way in which the exterior has been constructed is only a small part of the overall project.The interior with the movement of the apartments, should be fi lmed elaborately, I think it is a beautiful sequence of spaces.Perhaps we should ring the bell... and see if we fi nd at home.

In order to join two houses, the general structure of one house was conserved, including the stairs.In this house the more domestic elements; the kitchen, the bedrooms, and the dining room exsist.

In the old town of Barcelona, just outside the gothic walls the building stands, which is nowadays in very poor condicions.The fl at we are restoring is the main apartament of the house, with an independent entrance, and it’s own courtyard and back garden.

Unazuki Meditation Pavillon

Where the old Unazuki Trail crosses the deep Kurobe River valley it is transformed into a suspended bridge that successively becomes a commerce bridge for heavy traffi c.The foundations of the old bridge permit the construction of this litlle labyrinth in which the path turns in upon itself to offer a long walk suspended over the valley.

复旦大学是历史悠久、享誉海内外的国家级重点学府之一。复旦新园区项目为通过建筑彰显复旦精神提供了绝好的机遇。新建筑内的所有公共集会空间均由屋面景观系统覆盖。现在，当学生们在校园中学习或集会的时候，他们将会每天都沐浴在复旦“光华”之下。

卓越后海高层办公楼项目深圳中国

该项目具有标志性的元素，并显示不同以往的独特造型。塔楼体量上的扭转与上海世博会西班牙馆中立面藤条饰板视造成的觉上的动感效果有异曲同工之妙。

杭州白马湖，动漫博物馆及广场竞标杭州中国

魔幻岛为自然、人工与动漫博物馆完美结合带来全新体验。博物馆概念在这里得到重塑并使其成为全世界该领域独一无二的范本。

我们设计了一个开放空间，作为当地人的跳舞场地。通过迷宫式的路径引向阶梯，在那里人们可以围绕中心区域起舞。中心区域领舞，并为周边空间输入活力。在Ricard Viñes广场人行与车行分不同流线运动，步行系统中包含公共空间。

张大千博物馆四川内江中国

画家张大千生于四川省内江市。他是20世纪最著名的国画大师。作为张大千的故乡，内江市通过弘扬张大千的艺术推动自身的发展。基地位于内江市东兴区东桐路圆顶山，西林寺西侧，沱江南岸。

西安国际展览园区设计2011西安中国

该园寻求中国山水画的意境。人工构筑尽量模仿自然，以期显示出自然的幻象。花园选取自然材质，当游览者亲身接触石头的质地时，会得到与大自然接触的感官享受。因此，自然材料成为唯一的选择。

音乐与艺术学校甘迪亚西班牙

音乐学校的设计关注于人们流动因素。我们寻求创造一个公共广场，邀请甘迪亚市民和游客散步其中，以模仿室外的剧场。

新Camper店室内设计塞维利亚西班牙

我们希望新店与马略卡岛的Camper鞋店的设计风格一致。我们截取了不同鞋子的形状，有HILL和无HILL，高跟和低跟，男鞋女鞋…… 我们吧平面投影一个挨一个地拼起来……这样就形成了新Camper鞋店的体量！

Gas Natural Offi ce Building

As a living creature that reacts to external impulses, the new building of the company Gas Natural, develops and extends addressing the different conditions of the program and the complex environment.The aim is to reconcile several objectives: to create an urban landmark in the skyline of Barcelona, to set up a dialogue with the low-rise houses of the neighbourhood and to generate quality public spaces.

社会团体为汉堡港的发展设立了竞赛，以重建市中心的Elbe河岸。由EMBT提出的概念最终胜出。它将提供一种空间多样性，以使当地居民和游客同时享受到附近水路的便利。

城市公园规划设计竞赛切塞纳意大利

“Novello”铁路沿线国际概念竞赛。项目的目的在于允许Cesena生长出新的部分，有机地变换功能，并因此达到最适宜的共存。

2010上海世博会西班牙馆上海中国

EMBT设计的2010上海世博会西班牙馆。8000平方米的建筑，概念源于藤条编织的篮筐。立面由藤条板覆盖，这种藤条编织物同时代表着西班牙与中国的民间艺术和手工制造。

Yeouido河畔公园竞赛汉城韩国

Yeouido河畔公园项目是Han河重建项目的后续公园项目。我们将所有环绕Yeouido岛的河堤理解为一个连续的公园。新的Yeouido公园与现有的Saetgang生态公园应该被视为一个连续的整体。我们利用可持续的、自然的和人工的元素和植被来将两者无缝连接起来。

团队组成和经验

EMBT是一个国际性建筑事务所，从事公共空间和建筑方面的设计项目。在西班牙，这些建筑物是加泰罗尼亚民族复兴风格建筑中必不可少的一部分。

EMBT自创建以来，已经在建筑、室内设计、设施规划方面形成了成熟经验，涉及到学校建筑、住宅建筑、建筑修复和具有特殊用途的景观建筑等项目。1990年，Enric Miralles (1955-2000)与Benedetta Tagliabue (1963)一起成立了自己的建筑事务所——EMBT。

自事务所成立之日起，事务所参与了众多类型的项目的设计和复原工作，包括住宅、大学建筑和工业设施，以及市政中心、体育馆、办公楼等，为国家以及当地政府、公司和私人客户提供服务。

但是大部分工作都是针对公共客户，并且特别强调公共空间以及建筑施工和公共空间之间的连贯性。每个项目都会带来新的客户和特别成本约束。为了得到理想的方案，设计过程中客户和设计师需要密切合作。EMBT确定客户在表达自己的需要方面发挥着积极地作用，使方案能够更加贴近客户的需要。EMBT还拥有一只能够对项目需求做出快速响应的团队。

Miralles Tagliabue EMBT has a main offi ce in Barcelona and a branch in Shanghai, operating all over the world.

Miralles Tagliabue EMBT can be seen as a melting pot of ideas, a meeting point of traditions and innovations; where each project presents a challenge and at the same time a new learning opportunity.

It’s without question an open approach, full of exploration and experimenting. Even so the high level of conceptual thought is fundamental. The studio itself refl ects the belief of changing the environment by observing and respecting the site, its history and culture.

EMBT’s work includes various iconic buildings and public spaces to the city of Barcelona: Gas Natural tower, Santa Caterina Market, Diagonal Mar Park. It also includes a number of high profi le projects in other European cities Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh, Utrecht’s Town Council and Music School in Hamburg.
