Amun-Ra was the head of the

Egyptian pantheon of

Gods

There was also a couple of Gods:The God of the Earth Geb and

his wife Goddess of the starry sky Nut

They had 4 children: Osiris,

Set, Isis and Nephthys. Osiris and his wife Isis

were the first rulers.

The divine couple taught people how to cultivate the

land, took into the secret of

different trades, written

language, canons of building temples..

Osiris and Isis told people the secrets of life and death, the purport of their

existence. It was the happiest

time for everybody.

One day Set killed Osiris to get his power and threw him into the Nile.

Brutal Set

Isis, who loved the husband more than

anyone ever did, was searching Osiris all over

the world found him and hid him on the bank of

the Nile.

But at night Set found Osiris

once again, split him in 14 parts and threw parts of his body all

over the Egyptian Earth.

Isis was searching her

husband again. Everywhere she found him she made a holy place to the memory of

Osiris. This 14 places became

the Sacred places of the

country.

After she collected all the parts of Osiris’s body together

with the help of some unknown magic she born a son Horus.

He was born to revenge for his

father. He engaged in

combat with the dark forces. In a battle with Set he lost his eye.

Gods bestowed him with

Wedjat-a magic eye (third eye). Horus won Set and revived his father with the help of Wedjat.

Wedjat became the main sacred symbol of Egypt:

the symbol of justice,

compassion and mercy.

Wedjat

Horus was the last God, who ruled on the

Earth. Only after hundreds of

years the first Pharaoh

appeared and powers passed

to people.
