Initially its a thought to go out! On goes the jumper or rain

jacket and boots, but persevere, or winter in the Eglinton

countryside can be an amazing experience or anyone visiting.

Winter provides a magicalperspective to the Park, anyone visiting may seesquirrels, foxes and evendeer as they wander quietly.

    WinterWhats on...

The crunch underoot o dry leaves, slowlybecoming a source o nutrients or the newseasons growing plants. The shapes o rostcrystals on a bramble or ice on the loch, areonly a ew examples o the commonplace

but beautiul sights, which can be enjoyed byanyone who stops to look.

Robins have learned to associate with peopleas they cultivate the land uncovering smallcreatures, which are snapped up promptly.

Moles throw up hillocks, even under snow, while shrews and mice still make night

journeys and leave trails o ootprints, sometimes ollowed by those o hunterssuch as oxes.
