Why schools now ? • Tremors are common as in other natural disasters• Global calendar doesn’t wait• Every minute is important, more for the youths and children• Maintaining different programs in the various universities• Summer Vacations will be in summer, which will come with more tragedies this year. Dashain / Tihar is obliviously holidays, which we can’t reduce.. • ‘Fukushima Pachinko Story’ and Haitian Experiences

Precautions..now in schools

• Assess physical structures by technicians.. Recently..• Monitor every time hall use in the group of your team. • Group discussion within the team, invite Psycho-counselors if any needed.• Prepare a safety plan, be sure, is noticed to all students security personals , invigilators etc. • Have sufficient first aid kits, including stretchers, Ambulance • Provide sufficient opportunity to visit centers for the parents and Students earlier

This Year special • Listen them more, and make sure they’re heard • Use larger block letters in notices• Multiple notification,• More… communication… more interaction• Focus more to care family members lost,

Injured and specific cases if any• Save exams from the Jokers , Hero / Heroines

and imitators..

This Year special II• Data collection : be ready to response all questions• List the major/ special cases: find the appropriate recipients ( Stationeries, uniforms) • Map out the possible drop outs• Manage special arrangements for the new comers• Respond the victims however/what ever you can• Publish the situation : mobilize media for all•Care on sanitation issues, Gender issues, protect injured and come from different environments.• This is prone time of all, even of Youth Traffickers, abusers and other bad individuals..

At last !

Learning is natural, it continues even in emergency…
