    tiled roof and with relief offered by large brick chimney stacks, two single projecting

    bays to the rear, and, to the front faade, a canopy porch, double storey bay and

    dormer windows.

    Approach, Entrance and Ground Floor

    A flight of stone steps lead up to the double timber front doors, with glazed upper

    inserts, and through into the entrance vestibule with an original Minton tiled floor. Part

    obscure glazed doors continue into the central reception hall, which in turn radiates off

    to the principal reception rooms and what is currently used as a childrens playroom.

    Access is also gained to a cloakroom, and the useful cellar.

    The main drawing room enjoys a delightful south westerly aspect, having French doors

  • Our favourite room is probably the open plan family room and modern kitchen, says Manu. Its wonderfully bright and airy with large bay windows that overlook the beautifully manicured back garden. The sitting area can be opened up to the large patio beyond, says Susan, which has ample seating areas and a hot tub which is also close to the gym annexe.

  • The property is absolutely stunning throughout, says Susan. Its arranged over three levels and each of the rooms are generously proportioned

    with tall ceilings and some lovely features. Shortly after purchasing the property

    we embarked upon an extensive project of renovation, says Manu, for which no

    expense was spared. We love the style of the house, so everything was done in a

    very sympathetic way to recapture the Victorian era, and in my mind its now the

    ideal blend of old and new, and absolutely perfect for modern family living.
