Alberta Summer Games
Hosting a large-scale event like the Summer Games is a major accomplishment for all involved. Its benefit to the community and people goes beyond money, although those advantages are notable as well. In addition to the extra income brought into the city of Airdrie, the Games provided both citizens and young athletes a unique experience that coincidently enhances provincial, regional and local economies.
