…..Rawdon May 14th Workshop- Non-Toxic Cleaning Products Cleaning is not an activity we associate with illness and
most of us still use harsh, heavy-duty cleaners because
we equate cleanliness with health, regardless of the
words written in bold; “DANGER, POISON, CAUTION.”
Join our guest, Suzan, as she shows us how to make
safe and natural cleaning products for your kitchen and
bathroom. Registration is required. Bring a cookie sheet
and a medium bowl. Contact Diane: 450-421-5929
May 21st Cancer Presentation The “C” word is enough to make us cringe, under-standably as on average 565 Canadians are diagnosed with cancer every day. The population most affected are those 50 and older, but the good news is that survival rates are increasing. With that
in mind we are very pleased to have local oncologist Dr. Elie Kassouf, MSc, who has agreed to present to us on the screening, diagnostic and management process, along with the new therapies available. Please take advantage of this important opportunity to better understand this disease, that has impacted all of our lives.
May 28th The Importance of a Healthy Gut Scientists believe that around 75% of our immune system lies in the gut, affecting how the body absorbs the good nutrients and how it flushes out the toxins. Join Debra-Lee Batyi for this informative presentation on the many disorders and the importance of maintaining a healthy digestive system. Page 4
