A range of vandal resistant rectangular wall recessed luminaires. Suitable for indoor or outdoor applications in residential, shopping and pedestrian areas as decorative guide light. Available in a variety of lamp options that include energy saving compact uorescent and LED light sources .Main characteristics are low glare and the limited maintenance concept. The LED luminaires house a high quality SMD (LEDs) source with low energy consumption and long service life 60,000 80,000 hrs.The legend is available with aluminum or stainless steel frames. Low copper content die-cast aluminum housing with a high corrosion resistance. Stainless steel screws. Durable silicone rubber gasket and impact resistant UV stabilized acrylic diuser. 4 way 1/2 Threaded conduit holes with plugs provided. Housing is treated with a chemical chromatized protection before powder coating, in a White Epoxy nish ensuring high corrosion resistance. Integral electronic driver. The LED are available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5100K. Consult factory for additional colors.

Construction: Face plates & pour collars available in machined aluminum, machined brass or machined stainless steel. Aluminum housing is pre-treated & painted black with polyurethane powder coat. Stainless steel hardware. Lamp Holder: Machined faceplate has clear, borosilicate glass lens, glued in and is attached to black anodized, machined aluminum cap. O-ring seal on body prevents water entry into lamp compartment. Cable connection sealed with water-tight strain relief.Pour Collar: Pour collar option is recommended for concrete pour installations. Socket: GY-6.35 bi-pin porcelain socket with 6 of 16-2 cable supplied. LED version has module installed. Lamp: Utilizes 20W MR16 halogen lamps or integral 10W Solid State LED with driver.Accessories: Up to 3 lens or shielding options can be specified; 2 for the LED module.
Finishes: 14 standard powder coated aluminum finishes, clear anodized aluminum finish, 3 brass finishes and 3 stainless steel finishes available. See FINISHES section of catalog, inside back cover.
Labels: CSA listed for wet location landscape use (UL1838). Requires a remote magnetic or approved electronic transformer for the LED module.
Dimensions: 3 3/8 diameter faceplate with pour collar. 3 diameter housing and 10 7/8 overall height.Warranty: Aluminum is warranted for 5 years. Brass and stainless steel are warranted for 25 years.

To reduce the amount of mineral deposits on the fixture lens, every Model IG2 includes our Flush Lens design. The lens is attached into the faceplate in a manner that forms a flush fit.

The lamp holder in the IG2 is a sealed fixture with an O-ring seal between the cap and body and a weather-tight connector from the body to the supply wire.

Features: Same design as standard Model IG2 with integral LED module and driver. Three beam patterns available: 12 Spot, 21 Narrow Flood and 41 Flood. Replaceable LED lamp module with thermal control to prevent overheating. Two power settings:10 watts (428 lumens) or 6.7 watts (325 lumens). 3000K Color, 83 CRI average . 12V AC/DC. Dimmable. L70 = 60,000 hours. Five-year warranty. (Solid state version is not interchangeable with halogen version of this product.)

SPECIFICATIONSBASEPLATE: Marine grade die-cast aluminum. Integral heat sinks. Baseplate flange interlocks and wraps around lens base producing maximum moisture deflection and resistance to prying. Baseplate provided with four-point mounting holes, one wireway hole and temporary junction box mounting breakouts. Standard black, bronze or white exterior TGIC polyester powder coat 5-step pre-treatment. See Ordering Information for optional finishes.
LENS: UV-stabilized, high impact resistant, virgin injection molded polycarbonate or acrylic. High efficiency blondel fluted lens obscures lamp image and maximizes uniformity. Close tolerance push/turn/lock-in-place mating of injection molded lens and lens base. Lens and lens base secured with one concealed captive Torx with center pin fastener.
LENS BASE/GRILLE: Lens base shields lamp from viewing angles. High impact resistant, injection molded opaque black, bronze or white polycarbonate. Optional Light Gray, Silver, Forest Green or Custom Color (see Ordering Information below) are chemically bonded, impact resistant finishes.
GASKETING: Die-cut, closed cell neoprene self adhesive gasket seals baseplate to mounting surface. Closed cell, silicone O ring gaskets positioned and friction secured in gasket channels of lens base, baseplate and optional surface adapter.
HARDWARE: One stainless steel Torx with center pin fastener.
ELECTRICAL: Replaceable high-brightness ANSI 3500K (80 CRI min.), 4000K (70 CRI min.), or 5000K (70 CRI min.) white LED array. 120-277VAC, high power factor electronic driver. See options for higher CRI lamp availability.
PATENT: U.S. Patent No.: 6,042,251.
WARRANTY: Standard four-point mounting and polycarbonate lens required for Peace of Mind Guarantee. One (1) year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Five (5) year warranty on LED lamps and driver for defects resulting in a fixture lumen depreciation of 30% or greater.
LISTINGS: Luminaire is certified to UL Standards by Intertek Testing Laboratory for wet location. UL certified IP64 per IEC 60598. All Kenall SSL Luminaires are tested to the IESNA LM-79-08 standard requiring spectroradiometric measurements for CRI and CCT as well as goniophotometric measurements for lighting distributions and total luminous flux.

Housing: Two piece die-cast aluminum provided with means for direct attachment to the ceiling over a 3" or 4" octagonal wiring box. All aluminum used in the construction is marine grade and copper free.
Enclosure: Tempered clear glass, retained by a one piece, die-cast aluminum step baffle frame. Frame is secured by one stainless steel captive screw threaded into a stainless steel insert. Internal reflector made from pure, anodized aluminum. Fully gasketed for weather tight operation using molded silicone rubber U-channel gasket.
Electrical: 31 W LED luminaire, 36 total system watts, -20 C start temperature. Integral 120 V through 277 V electronic LED driver, 0-10 V dimming. OPTICAL SYSTEMS: Philips Gardco 101 LED luminaires utilize lensed LED arrays set to achieve IES Type II, Type III, and Type IV distributions. Individual LED arrays are replaceable. Luminaires feature high performance Class 1 LED systems.
HOUSING: Housings are die cast aluminum. A memory retentive gasket seals the housing to the door frame to exclude moisture, dust, insects and pollutants from the optical system. A black, die cast ribbed backplate dissipates heat for longer system life.
DOOR FRAME: A single-piece die cast aluminum door frame integrates to the housing form. The door frame is hinged closed and secured to the housing with captive stainless steel fasteners. The heat and impact resistant 1/8" (.32cm) tempered glass lens and one-piece gasket are mechanically secured to the door frame with galvanized steel retainers.
IP RATING: Luminaires are rated IP66.
FINISH: Each standard color luminaire receives a fade and abrasion resistant, electrostatically applied, thermally cured, triglycidal isocyanurate (TGIC) textured polyester powdercoat finish. Standard colors are as listed. Consult factory for specs on custom colors.
LABELS: All luminaires bear UL or CUL (where applicable) labels. Lens down application is Wet Location and lens up is Damp Location.
WARRANTY: Philips Gardco LED luminaires feature a 5 year limited warranty, including a 5 year limited warranty covering the LED arrays. See Warranty Information on www.sitelighting.com for complete details and exclusions. Polycarbonate lenses carry a 1 year warranty only.
FULL CUTOFF PERFORMANCE: Full cutoff performance means a luminaire distribution where zero candela intensity occurs at an angle at or above 90 above nadir . Additionally, the candela per 1000 lamp lumens does not numerically exceed 100 (10 percent) at a vertical angle of 80 above nadir. This applies to all lateral angles around the luminaire.
CUTOFF PERFORMANCE: Cutoff performance means a luminaire distribution where the candela per 1000 lamp lumens does not numerically exceed 25 (2.5 percent) at an angle at or above 90 above nadir, and 100 (10 percent) at a vertical angle of 80 above nadir. This applies to all lateral angles around the luminaire.

GL18: Philips Gardco Gullwing LED standard luminaire providing constant wattage and constant light output when power to the luminaire is energized.
GL18-DCC: Philips Gardco Gullwing LED luminaire provided with dual circuiting, permitting separate switching of each led array. Available on luminaires with dual led arrays only.
GL18-DIM: Philips Gardco Gullwing LED luminaire provided with 0 -10V dimming for connection to a control system provided by others.
GL18-MR-50: Philips Gardco Gullwing LED luminaire with motion response, providing a 50% power reduction on low and a commensurate reduction in light output. The power and light output reduction is accomplished utilizing the Philips DynaDimmer module, programmed for a constant 50% power. Power supplied by the motion sensor connected to the override line on the DynaDimmer takes the luminaire to high setting, 100% power and light output, when motion is detected. The luminaire remains on high until no motion is detected for the motion sensor duration period, after which the luminaire returns to low. Duration period is factory set at 15 minutes, and is field adjustable from 5 minutes up to 15 minutes.
This configuration is not available for use with wall mounted luminaires.
GL18-MR50 is available in 120V through 277V input only to the luminaire. Motion sensors require single voltage 120V or 277V input.
The Pedestrian PIR motion sensor is the WattStopper HB350W-L3. One motion sensor per pole is required and is ordered separately as the MS-P accessory, see page 2. The Pedestrian sensor accept 120V through 277V input.
The pedestrian motion detector provides coverage equal to the sensor height above ground , in all directions from the sensor (360.)
Pedestrian PIR Motion Sensor Coverage Pattern:
The Area PIR motion sensor is the WattStopper EW-200-120-W (120V Input - MS-GLA-120V) or the WattStopper EW-200-277-W (277V Input - MS-GLA-277V.) One motion sensor per pole is required and is ordered separately. Area sensors require single voltage 120V or 277V input.
The area motion detector provides coverage equal to up to 6 times the sensor height above ground, 270 from the front-center of the sensor.
Area PIR Motion Sensor Coverage Pattern:
Motion response requires that the pole include an additional hand hole 15 feet above the pole base, normally oriented 180 to the standard hand hole. For Philips Gardco poles, order the pole with the Motion Sensor Mounting (MSM) option which includes the hand hole and a special hand hole cover plate for the sensor with a 1/2" NPT receptacle centered on the hand hole cover plate into which the motion sensor mounts. Once the motion sensor is connected to the hand hole cover plate, then wiring connections are completed in the pole. The plate (complete with motion sensor attached and wired) is then mounted to the hand hole. If poles are supplied by others, the customer is responsible for providing suitable mounting accommodations for the motion sensor in the pole.
GL18-APD: Philips Gardco Gullwing LED luminaire with Automatic Profile Dimming. Luminaire is provided with the Philips DynaDimmer module included. The DynaDimmer module is programmed to go to 50% power, 50% light output two (2) hours prior to night time mid-point and remain at 50% for six (6) hours after night time mid-point. Mid-point is continuously recalculated by the DynaDimmer module based on the average mid-point of the last two full night cycles. Short duration cycles, and power interruptions are ignored and do not affect the determination of mid-point.
GL18-APD is available in 120V through 277V input only.

HOUSING: A one-piece die cast aluminum housing mounts directly to a pole or wall without the need for a support arm. The low profile rounded form reduces the effective projected area of the luminaire to only 1.2 ft2 /.12 m2.
IP RATING: Gullwing LED 18" luminaires have a rating of IP66.

THERMAL MANAGEMENT: The Philips Gardco Gullwing LED provides die cast aluminum integral thermal radiation fins combined with lateral air ways, to provide the excellent thermal management so critical to long LED system life.

ELECTRICAL: Luminaires are equipped with an LED driver that accepts 120V through 277V, or 347V through 480V, 50hz to 60hz, input. Driver output is based on the LED wattage selected. Component-to-component wiring within the luminaire will carry no more than 80% of rated current and is listed by UL for use at 600 VAC at 302F / 150C or higher. Plug disconnects are listed by UL for use at 600 VAC, 15A or higher. Power factor is not less than 90%. Luminaire consumes 0.0 watts in the off state. All motion sensors utilized consume 0.0 watts in the off state.
FINISH: Each standard color luminaire receives a fade and abrasion resistant, electrostatically applied, thermally cured, triglycidal isocyanurate (TGIC) textured polyester powdercoat finish. Standard colors include bronze (BRP), black (BLP), white (WP), and natural aluminum (NP). Consult factory for specs on optional or custom colors.

FULL CUTOFF PERFORMANCE: Full cutoff performance means a luminaire distribution where zero candela intensity occurs at an angle at or above 90 above nadir. Additionally, the candela per 1000 lamp lumens does not numerically exceed 100 (10 percent) at a vertical angle of 80 above nadir. This applies to all lateral angles around the luminaire.

The GL18-APD offers many of the advantages of a sophisticated control system, including an average energy savings of at least 33% versus constant wattage, constant light output systems, without the need for a control system.
GL18-APD-MRO: Philips Gardco Gullwing LED luminaire with Automatic Profile Dimming, with Motion Response Override. The GL18-APD-MRO combines the benefits of both automatic profile dimming and motion response. The luminaire will dim to 50% power, 50% light output, per the dimming profile shown for the GL18-APD. If motion is detected during the time that the luminaire is operating at 50%, the luminaire returns to 100% power and light output. The luminaire remains on high until no motion is detected for the duration period, after which the luminaire returns to low. Duration period is factory set at 15 minutes, and is field adjustable from 5 minutes up to 15 minutes.
This configuration is not available for use with wall mounted luminaires.
GL18-APD-MRO is available in 120V through 277V input only to luminaire. The motion sensor requires either 120V or 277V input to the motion sensor.
The GL18-APD-MRO has the same pole requirements and utilizes the same motion sensors as the GL18-MR-50. The motion sensor mounts and wires
identically as well. The GL18-APD-MRO utilizes the identical dimming profile as shown for the GL18-APD.
By combining the benefits of automatic profile dimming and motion response, the GL18-APD-MRO assures maximum energy savings, and insures that adequate light is present if motion is detected.
Note: All motion sensors utilized consume 0.0 watts in the off state.
GL18-RK: Philips Gardco Gullwing LED Retrofit kit for existing Gullwing
luminaires. The retrofit kit provides a simple way to convert existing sites that utilize Gullwing luminaires to LED. The retrofit kit includes all necessary components to complete the retrofit conversion. The existing optic, ballast tray and door assembly are removed and replaced by retrofit kit components. The retrofit kit includes the complete door frame and the LED driver assembly.
The GL18-RK is available only in a constant wattage, constant light output design, and is not available with any Options, except as specifically indicated on page 2.

Cast Stone: Cast stone requires little to no maintenance from the effects of weathering and aging. Maintenance, however, may be performed using the following guidelines:
General cleaning of cast stone and UHPC: Routine cleaning can be done with clean soft cloths using water or mild detergents. For more aggressive cleaning use high-pressure hot water washing. In extreme cases detergents may be required. Never use carbon steel wire brushes as minute amounts of steel from the brush will be embedded into the concrete surface resulting in rust staining. If brushes are required, use natural stiff bristle brushes with clean potable water. This should be sufficient for most general cleaning requirements.
Graffiti removal: To clean graffiti, determine what was used to deface the concrete surface. For spray paints, remove as much as possible mechanically with a stiff natural bristle brush. Never use mineral spirits as these will dissolve the paint and can carry pigments deeper into the concrete. Use a cotton cloth soaked with acetone to blot off the paint.
Smooth sealed surfaces: To remove food residues and oils on these surfaces, use a small amount of distilled vinegar diluted by half with clean potable water in a clean soft cloth or sponge well wrung out. Diluted mild detergents and dish soaps are also acceptable. Wipe surface, then immediately wipe with clean potable water and dry with a clean dry cloth. Some cast stone sur-faces are factory-sealed for a degree of stain-resistance (but are not stain-proof). Due to the porous nature of cast stone, even with factory-applied sealer, regular maintenance is the best safeguard against staining. Do not allow spills to set. Sealed stone cannot be warranted against staining, cracking or scratching. Never use non-neutral or abrasive cleaners.
