Definitions• Core Component Library (CCL)
A syntax-neutral directory of data used to build messages. Envisioned to become the ‘superset’ for both EDIFACT and the TDED.
• UN/EDIFACTEDIFACT stands for "Electronic Data Interchange For Administration, Commerce and Transport". UN/EDIFACT (ISO 9735) is a global standard for the presentation of business and commercial data destined for electronic exchange data between companies.
• Trade Data Element Directory (TDED)
A set of data elements used primarily for cross border transport; aligns to EDIFACT and to numerous international organizations.
