Before you begin, it is a good idea to search thesite to check out other users listings that are similar to the item you are selling to getsome ideas about how to design your selling page and under what category to place youritem. Even if you already have an eBay account, if this is your first time selling, you willneed to provide credit card and checking account information. 17 22. Step 3 Choose the selling format for your item (Figure 2). If your feedback rating isbelow 17, the only option you have is the traditional eBay auction, where the highestbidder wins. If you have a rating of 17 or higher, you also have the option to sell at afixed price. This allows a buyer to instantly purchase your item at your specified pricewithout having to worry about the auction process. You have a maximum of 45characters, and no HTML, asterisks, or quotes are allowed. A truthful and explanatorytitle is very essential. It is not a good idea to use words like Wow or Fantastic in yourtitle, as users usually dont search for those words. More details help your buyer to make aninformed purchase and will give you an advantage over sellers who don't provide enoughinformation.
