CAREER HIGHLIGHTSShawn has over 25 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry,including onshore and offshore oil and gas developments, both domestically andinternationally. During his career, he has held a variety of staff and managementassignments in engineering, operations support, and major projects. He hasextensive experience in project assurance and interface, risk, and changemanagement processes for major oil and gas asset development projects.

During his 25 year career with Chevron, Shawn supported existing operations,production field facility expansions, and major project developments throughvarious roles such as Facilities Engineer for production facilities in Texas andOklahoma, Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer for production facilities in theoffshore Gulf Of Mexico, Instrumentation and Control Engineer for an LNGRe-gasification facility project, Project Engineer for Topsides and Hull for variousmajor deepwater asset developments, Assurance/Interface/ Risk Manager for amajor deepwater project, and Engineering and Procurement Delivery Manager formultiple Gas Turbine Generator modules and compressor packages for a major fieldexpansion project in Kazakhstan. Shawn has extensive experience in EPC projectdevelopment from the early appraisal phase through engineering design andexecution.

Shawn is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, inducted in 1991,and the IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu Electrical Engineering Honor Society, inducted in 1988.

In 2019, Shawn achieved a Level 7 Certificate (Regulated Qualifications Framework,RQF, accredited at master's level qualification) for Legal Experience TrainingAdvanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence (LETAPAEWE).
