Public Meeting for Interest in CoderDojo Club in Dublin 6 Area Place: St Mary College, 73-79 Lower Rathmines Road, Dublin 6.Date and Time: Monday, 24th November, 7:00pm
What is CoderDojo? CoderDojo makes web development and learning to code a fun and sociable experience, and taking part in the scheme provides children with a valuable set of skills to succeed in an increasingly digital world. Who can take part? The Club will be aimed primarily for 10-15 year olds. So far in Ireland, the CoderDojo classes have been dominated by those between the ages of 7 and 12. How much does it cost? The programme is taught, organised, and run entirely by willing volunteers, which means that the classes are provided to children free of charge. Volunteers Needed Please contact Lucinda Creighton’s office @ 01-618-3527 or [email protected] if interested or available to volunteer for Sat/Sun morning classes. Computer experience sought but not essential.
