2015 NKBA KBIS Best of Show Goes to Spicy Contemporary Chicago KitchenInspired by world travels, America’s most beautiful kitchen design lives in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. Designed by Drury Design team member Brigitte Fabi, CMKBD, the kitchen’s rich eclectic look realized the vision of world travelers who call Chicago home. The Moorish contemporary design

was honored with two awards: Best of Show and fi rst place in the large kitchen category at the 2015 National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) Design Competition Awards during the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas.

After making do with an undersized and underpowered 70s-style kitchen for 20 years, the clients wanted a better workfl ow, space for entertaining, modern features, professional appliances, and room for two cooks.

ASID 2014 Interior Design Award Goes to Rec Room Reimagined in Glen Ellyn

What once started as a 2,000-square-foot open and unfi nished space, quickly turned into a contemporary lodge oasis, complete with a bar, an entertaining area, a game room, a music room, a storage center, and a full bathroom.

Rich Neutral Contemporary Kitchen Goes on Display Recently revealed, our studio’s newest display features a rich mix of neutral textures. Affordably elegant glossy and matte cabinetry complement each other. Glass adds gloss to door cabinets, ThinkGlass counters, and crystal pendants. Stainless steel adds sheen in the bridge cabinet, ovens, sink, faucets, and hardware. The warmth of the stained and glazed wood fl oor complemented by the textured matte porcelain backsplash gives another rich contrast.

For the second year in a row, Drury Design was awarded “Best of Houzz” in both categories: Customer Satisfaction and Design.
