What did you and your group find difficult?

We were really confused about our roles. Also, some movements were complicated so we should change some of them.

How did you solve these problems? To solve those problems, we changed roles. For instance, Jenny and Jessica were the leaders which were rain and sun. However they changed with Eun Ah and me. Eun Ah changed to rain and I changed to sun. Although we changed it at the middle, we solved it well.

List the order of events that occurred in your ritual and explain the meaning f the different sections

Ritual of our group is about god of the rain and god of the sun. First, we made two raws. At the first raw, the god of rain stands in front of the raw and at the other raw, the god of sun stands in front of it. The raws are facing each others. When a gong sound starts, they stump and make a circle. Then the person who hits the gong, come and the god of rain go inside the circle. Two villagers also go in and help to put the blue cloth on her head. Then the villagers come back and starts bowing. The god of rain pours water inside a jug. We take turns to bow. After that, we run and make a circle with saying a word called “Pluvia” and “Vinita”. Then I (the god of sun) go inside the circle and take off the blue cloth which is on the head of the god of rain. Then the god of rain comes back to the circle and I put a yellow cloth on my waist. While we are doing that, the villagers shake their own cloths and say “Pluvia” and “Tialak”. I just stand in the middle of circle and the villagers and the god of rain runs and still makes a circle with saying “Gracias” and “Tialak”. After that, they kneel down and face the floor. Then they drop their cloths.
