Tactical: Commanded 33 months in Berlin, Germany during the occupation of the city by Allied Forces. Deployed in support of Special Forces Groups in combat. Special Forces Combat Patch (Desert Storm). Operational: Develop individual, group and organizational consultation, assessment and training programs servicing critical, globally dispersed units for AMEDD, INSCOM, PsyOps, Special Forces Command, JSOC, SOCOM, and OGAs for more than 25 years. Developed, supervised then supported an assessment, selection and support program for personnel assigned worldwide and their families at the Office of Military Support (OMS) Washington, D.C. Assisted in coordinating clinical aspects of repatriation and media management for US POWs during Operation Iraqi Freedom. 2001-2004 Professor of Behavioral Sciences at National Defense University (NDU) Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF) Washington, DC. The first Military Clinical Psychologist appointed to teach and develop graduate courses in Strategic Leadership, Information Strategies and Electives and established this as a permanent position. Appointed ICAF Special Operations SME by College Commandant. Supervised independent study and Research Fellows, acted as faculty advisor to provide highly individualized executive assessment, feedback and mentoring for 35+ senior (LTC-BG) DOD, OGA and Foreign students per year. Member of Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Strategic Essay Contest. Member of peer elected faculty council and curriculum review board. Provided voluntary consultative outreach to US government agencies on assessment, selection, personnel issues and strategic planning. Supervised all department administration including compliance with all training and JCAH compliance requirements passing every annual inspection with commendations. Coordinated wartime contingency medical plans and training for the Berlin Brigade as the MEDDAC Training and Security OIC.

1974-1977 Alcohol and Drug Control Officer and Chief of Special Testing at 7th Medical Command HQ Heidelberg, FRG. Evaluated the European-wide drug abuse prevention program for Army medical personnel. Conducted research and briefed the command on trends and developments. Designed, implemented and monitored the drug abuse testing program for all DOD military personnel in Europe. Budget of three million dollars. Supervised 10 Americans and foreign nationals.
