For my double page spread, I purposely left lots of room for my text. Although I knew I needed space, I still wanted my models in the photo, so I used just their feet. The three different pairs of shoes shows there are two boys and a girl, in keeping with my band members.
After taking the photo, I made it black and white and the page title. I then duplicated the original layer, and rubbed out three sections for my text.
I typed up my interview in full, and sorted it out equally into three sections. Putting my text in white I felt made it easy to read, but also within my colour scheme.
Soon I added some small music notes down the seem of the page, just so the text wasn’t too over whelming.
Finally I added my cracking effects around my text, this makes the pavement look aged and generally more interesting. I also added an outer purple glow to my text and shoes, something I have done throughout my magazine and further reinforce brand recognition.
