Volunteer Work

Most people work for a salary, but there are some people that are good hearted and work hard for no money at all.

This work is called volunteer work and it what helps hold this nation together.

Some people have charities that help out less fortunate than the ideal American.

There are some athletes that not only work hard on the field or court, but in the community as well.

Many professional Athletes give back to their community to say Thanks for what they’ve given them.

There is many charities that Athletes begin while in professional sports.

Many have charities that have to do with the general ideas of the less fortunate, for example The Pujols Family Foundation. Which helps with the mentally challenged.

Some people see Americans as lazy or selfish but more times than not, most Americans are hard working and make the most out of every opportunity they get.

When you look at a typical American person, what do you see? Maybe you see a hard working and diligent person. But maybe you see a slacker or a selfish individual.

Either way, no matter how you see it, hard work made this country what it is today.

If it wasn’t for hard working people, we would still be drinking out of different water fountains because of segregation

We might also not even be able to go to school and speak English if it weren’t for hard workers.

When you think of the words Hard Work, whose the first person that comes into your head?

Maybe its your Mom or Dad, Teacher or the local Mail Man.

Whoever you think of, is probably very important to you and obviously works hard at anything they do.

So, before you take on a task, think about this person.

Think about how hard they would work and put worth the same effort, if not more, to try and accomplish it.
