WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE DOING ?
They are playing bridge atTHE JOONDALUP BRIDGE CLUB
Playing Bridge is a great social activity
Playing Bridge helps mental wellbeing
You can play competitively or for fun
Bridge is a partnership game. Partners sit opposite one another
Prior to playing the hand, players bid to see who wins the contract, which is the number of tricks that side thinks it can
make.
The bidding is also an exchange of information between partners so that they reach the right contract
During the play one of the partners who won the contract plays both hands. Here it is the man in the check shirt. The opponents, here the ladies, try and defeat the
contract.
But You Have to Learn. Which is Fun but also Challenging
