WELCOME TOPOLITECNICO DI MILANO!
Congratulations! You’re now officially admitted to Politecnico di Milano! Our university was found-ed in 1863, and nowadays it scores as one of the best fifty technical universities in the world, the first among Italian schools. All you need to do now is plan your trip to Italy and take care of the last administrative requirements. In order to make the best out of your first week in Milan, we have organ-ized a Welcome Week, in which we have concen-trated all the things you should take care of upon your arrival. Hope you’ll enjoy it!

The Event - Welcome Week
ABOUT THE WEEKWhy should youtake part in the
Welcome Week?
We have organized a Welcome Week from September 29 to Oc-tober 2, in which we have concentrated all the things you should take care of upon on your arrival. Taking part in the Welcome Week is the best way to be supported in carrying out all admin-istrative procedures necessary to complete official enrollment to Politecnico di Milano, apply for a residence permit and complete the yearly study plan. It is a way to learn about important services each student can take advantage of during his/her stay and to get to know students, professors, facilities and the city of Milan in a friendly and informal way.
The Welcome Week and in particular the Final Event foresees a number of games and sports activities, a happy hour and live concert; all new international students enrolling in any of the Politecnico di Milano campuses will be there, from exchange to MSc Students. The student associations have contibuted to the organization of the Welcome Week, especially to the free time activities and final event.

As a newcomer, you will probably undergo considerable change in a number of key areas of your life simultaneously. Adapt-ing to new situations requires much more time and energy than staying with what’s familiar to us.

The accumulation of many changes over a relatively short period leads to an accumu-lation of pressure, possibly triggering feelings of stress and even overwhelms. The aim of this workshop is to help you identify the tools you have to face
the challenges a new situation can bring to you, together with the people who might share the same worries and doubts. The discussion of these topics will be held in an informal and light-hearted atmosphere.
