What’s this project all about?This project focuses on the main characteristics
of a video game cover and a video game commercial. You will come up with an idea for a NEW video game and design a cover case for
it. You will then write a script and produce a “commercial” for your video game!
PROJECT EXPECTATIONS
You will:
•Demonstrate an understanding of a variety of media texts• Identify the topic, purpose and audience for media texts you plan to create
• Draft and revise your writing, using a variety of informational, literary, and graphic forms and stylistic elements appropriate for the purpose and audience• Use proofreading, editing, and publishing skills and strategies, and knowledge of language conventions to correct errors, refine expression, and present your work effectively
